Everyone should create a bucket list for their college experience. With opportunities like music festivals and tailgating to skydiving, it’s hard to list all of the awesome things to do at Kansas State University. In no particular order, here are some KSU bucket list goals!
1. Call Hall Ice Cream!
Enjoy the best ice cream around, Willie The Wildcat approved!
2. Snap a picture with Willie the Wildcat!
Everyone’s favorite friendly mascot.
3. Football games, basketball games, volleyball games!
Actually go to any sporting event! The school spirit and pride is amazing!
Everyone gets together on game day. There’s great food, games, and fun with friends.
5. Go to the rec.
There’s even a rock climbing wall there! Make every visit an opportunity to challenge yourself.
6. Explore the library.
Our library is large enough that it will definitely take you some time before you learn the layout of every floor and discover your favorite study spot.
7. Join a club!
With so many to choose from, you’re sure to find that one that fits the bill for your KSU bucket list.

8. Go to an event hosted by UPC.
I don’t mean to brag but they brought Kevin Hart, Lindsey Sterling, Bill Nye, and Aziz Ansari to KSU.
9. Set up a hammock and just relax.
When the weather’s nice, its one of the most relaxing things you can do on campus.
10. Explore all the buildings around campus.
Our campus is large enough that you’ll do a lot of exploring your four years here.
11. Do the KSU picture pose.
This has been a tradition for years at KSU.
Major bonus points if you can do the pose with the president!!
1. Watch or be part of a pub crawl.
For those 21+ this should definitely be on your KSU bucket list.
2. Go to the Varsity food truck.
Grab a grilled cheese mac-n-cheese with bacon. Bacon! Enough said.
3. Go to the homecoming parade and pep rally.
It’s really a rite of passage at KSU, be a part of it!
4. Participate in Fake Patty’s Day.
Fake Patty’s day is during spring break, usually a week before St. Patty’s Day. Have fun but not too much fun! It’s a day that can be easy to over-do.
1. Go zip lining!
What better way to get the adrenaline pumping?
2. Walk the Konza Praire Trail.
Depending on how you walk the trail, your walk can range from 1 to 6 miles long! It’s beautiful and you can definitely take some insta worthy photos.
3. Go Skydiving!
KSU has a skydiving club!! I was wrong, this is the best way to get your adrenaline pumping!
4. Go to Manhattan Hill.
5. Go to a Rhythm and Brews Music Festival.
Many of them are free, so take advantage and listen to great live music while enjoying a home brewed beer!
There are so many great things to do at Kansas State University, so set up your own KSU bucket list and get started! After all, you only have 4 years!
