10 At Home Date Night Ideas You And Bae Should Try

Staying indoors no longer has to be a bore. You and bae should try these date night ideas.

1. Just Like at the Theaters

Anybody can Netflix and chill but for a date night, you got to upgrade. Plus it’s easy. Together find a season or two of a show to binge-watch or a really good movie. Grab your most comfy blankets and pillow to snuggle together with. To set the mood and to make it more like the movie theaters get a projector. Have the movie play on an empty wall in the home. Don’t chill just yet, you need snacks. That’s the best part of the movie. Grab your snacks, popcorn, and drinks and then snuggle. The two of you can then enjoy date night.

2. Spa Night

This will be a great date night to spoil each other. This night will be more than the two of you laying around in robes. Prepare the night for massages, pedicures and my favorite facials.  Home facials are simple and can be done at home. You will start by heating water on the stove and placing a face towel inside the water while it boils. Take the towel out the pot and set it to the side to cool off. The longer it is out of the water the cooler it would be. For a facial, you want the towel hot as you can handle without burning yourself. Place the towel on your face and relax. Next, grab some honey. Honey is your friend, with your pores open your enzymes and antibacterial compounds the honey will draw out the toxins on your face. Let it set on your face for about 20 minutes. Then wipe your face clean. Then apply on the do it yourself Charcoal Turmeric Mask and follow the directions Then you’re done. To make this more intimate you can apply each other’s facials.

3. Candle Lit Dinner

This date night requires that each party turn off their cell phone. Turn the romance on. You can choose to order delivery or can stay in and cook. While you both enjoy your meal and each other’s company turn off all the lights except for the candles. To turn this date night up a notch you both should dress fancy.

4. Game Night

This will bring a little competition to date night. Whether you two want to race putting together a puzzle or playing board games, you two will have a blast during date night. There are so many apps these days for games for couples to download and play. You two can learn a little about each other by playing Never Have I Ever. It’s an oldie but a goodie. Playing is simple. Each of you gets a drink, alcoholic or not. Alcohol makes it more fun, in my opinion. To start, one of you will say “I’ve never…” and then complete the sentence by saying something that you haven’t done and see if it’s something that your date has done. If they have done it they have to take a drink of their drink. This game ends when your cups are empty or when one of you calls it quits. Whatever game you chose there must be a reward for the winner. The two of you can come up with something that you both can agree to.

Date Night

5. Karaoke Night

Purchase a karaoke system and get ready for a fun musical night. If you don’t want to spend the money, there are several karaoke apps you can download. Let your inner Beyoncé shine. You can really let loose and even dress up as your singer.

Date Night

6. Painting with a Twist

Turn your kitchen into a Painting with a Twist session. You will need just a few art supplies; paintbrushes, watercolor paint, watercolor paper, and a palette. Then the two of you can agree on what you will paint and then get to it. This is a great way to see each other’s creative and not so creative side. Then when you’re done you can swap pictures and it would be a gift for each of you.

Date Night

7. Camping in the Living Room

You won’t need a campfire, but this date night will be lit. Create a pillow fort or a tent made out of blankets. The best part of this camping experience being in your living room is that you control the temperature, there are no bugs, and Netflix will be your scary story. Indoor smores are the best whether you make them in the oven or on the skillet.

8. Strip Poker

If you two are interested in a spicy date night this might be an activity you may want to indulge in. You don’t have to be a pro at poker but chances are if you are not you may be the one with the least clothing on in the end. You can play any variation of poker that the two of you chose. Although you don’t want to lose, wearing too much clothing, in the beginning, can make the game last for hours. So to keep it short and sweet wear jeans, a shirt, socks, and some shoes. Then let the game begin.

Date Night

9. In Door Mini Golf

Clear your living room because this is a way to play golf that you never played before. All you need is a couple of cups for the “holes”, 2 clubs (plastic or metal), and a golf ball. I find using kid golf clubs is cheaper and brings humor to golfing. You can make a bet to make the game more interesting. So turn up the music and play some golf.

Date Night

10. Romantic Picnic

If you like the outdoor life this would be a cute date night for the two of you. Hopefully, the weather permits this romantic night. If so, get a blanket, lantern, and some snacks and eat under the stars. This will be a perfect time to be just the two of you and enjoying each other’s company. Absolutely, no cell phones, they will ruin the intimate evening.
