OK, so you had a bad day at work. He is always there to listen and offer his advice, given the situation or dilemma. I find that boyfriends almost find it their duty to problem solve, or make us feel better: and they do their best! If you ever need a shoulder to cry on, an unbiased opinion, advice, or just a listening ear, he’s your man. Having a boyfriend isn’t always make-out sessions and dinner dates, (although those are fun too) its a consistent effort to not only get to know them, make the person happy, but create and share new memories with the person you deeply care for.

2. He Is Always Down To Adventure

Another reason why your boyfriend is also your best friend is to travel. Trip to Florida? Trip to New York city? He’s down. Or at least we hope he is. Creating memories and traveling together is a great way to bond, grow closer, and experience new things together as a couple. The excitement of traveling is fun in the end of itself, but when you add your boyfriend or partner, it intensifies the fun and romance. Knowing that you have a sidekick always by your side no matter what is comforting, to say the least.

The truth is, our boyfriends do want to spoil us and give us all their love. Every couple fights and no relationship is perfect. It’s important to remember that through the not so great times, it is a deeply meaningful relationship that extends far more than intimacy. The love you get from a boyfriend is truly cherish-able and can cheer you up on any given day. Even though guys can be seen as tough, their kisses and affection speak louder. Boyfriend humor is the best humor. The endless inside jokes, laughter, and humor that you share with your boyfriend equate to any childhood best friend that I can think of. Laying in bed, with your boyfriend, laughing up a storm and staring at the person your in love with can truly not be beaten. He’s there to make you laugh, cheer you up, and help you de-stress.

5. His Comfort Level

While in a relationship, you’ll see different sides to the other person, and that’s okay. Sides you wouldn’t normally see, and bodily functions are not off-limits. That’s what makes it awesome, the boyfriend/ girlfriend dynamic is truly one of a kind because of how high the trust level and comfort level is between the two of you. There isn’t anything you can’t share with one another, and nothing is considered gross. That type of relationship is hard to come by, so enjoy every minute of it!

Everyone wants to feel loved, and be smothered with kisses, duh! It is truly one of the most amazing feelings in life to know that you have love and affection with another person, in addition to a strong connection and chemistry. I once said to my best friend, “love is one of life’s most precious gifts”, and that it is. We all love our boyfriends for so many reasons, but his love and affection surely is one of them. Having a boyfriend who’s also your best friend is priceless. The number of memories that you create together will stay with you for nearly a lifetime. It’s a bond built on trust, respect, admiration, and genuine love.
