Fancy return flights from London for under £35? If you aren’t too picky about when you want to go or where you want to go, then you can get some insane deals on flights. Being in Europe it is so easy to travel. Give yourself a couple of hours and you could be in a different country, sipping wine with locals – sounds dreamy right? Well, here are 10 of the cheapest places to fly from London Gatwick!

   

Denmark

From just £14, you can visit Denmark’s capital, Copenhagen. Flights from London are short so it’s perfect for a short break! Take a picture with the famous ‘Little Mermaid’ statue, go on a Copenhagen pub crawl or maybe even take an ‘alternative’ tour of the city. And if you go, don’t forget to eat an authentic Danish Pastry!

Poland

Return flights to Poland’s capital, Warsaw start at just £16. Visit the famous Castle Square Landmark or take a walk and have a picnic in Saxon Gardens, one of the many parks. Or maybe have some fun with friends and try the ‘Room Escape Warszawa’ and test your friendship. If you like ravioli, make sure to try a Polish dish called ‘Pierogi,’ you won’t regret it!

France

Spontaneous trip to France, you have nothing ‘Toulouse!’ For just £17 you could take a stroll along the river Garonne with your baguette or maybe get on a river cruise! But, if you’re looking for something a bit more cultural then make your way over to the beautiful Duomo di Milano and get your cardio in by walking up the 919 steps to get to the rooftop, for incredible views over the city, (or take the lift). Year round sun means that you can scuba and snorkel to your hearts’ content. But if you’re feeling a little more adventurous, why not do some cliff walking or take a tour through the inside if a volcano at Cueva de los Verdes.

Germany

Surprisingly, to get to one of Greece’s most popular islands, Corfu, it can cost as little as £30! Swim at one of the many beautiful beaches or maybe take a trip into the Old Town to get your culture fix. And then you can reward yourself with a delicious ‘Gyro,’ or authentic kebab as I like to call it. Greek food is the best!

Visit the Dalmation Coast from just £32, where you can fly to Zadar. Don’t forget to pack your trainers, as you can take a day trip to one of the many beautiful National Parks of Croatia. The waterfall haven of Plivice Lakes is a must-see! Or hop on a boat and cruise to the stunning islets of the Kornati National Park. I recommend swimming in the salt-lakes. But, if you just want to stay in Zadar, then don’t forget to check out the Sea Organ and Sun Salutation.

Hungary

If you love a good thermal bath and cheap alcohol, why not visit Budapest, with return flights from £34. Due to it being the cheapest place in Europe to buy alcohol, it is no doubt that Budapest is crawling with hen parties, stag-dos, and students. For just over a pound you can buy a bottle of beer and in some places a glass of wine is as little as 90p! But other than the alcohol they have some awesome bars in original architectural ruins – I would definitely recommend Szimpla Kert for a fun night out, with everything from foosball to shisha!
