Glasgow is gorgeous during the day and always has events to go to, but at night, the city really comes to life. There are so many amazing clubs in Glasgow, so here’s the go-to places for a great night out:

1. Sub Club

One of the longest running underground clubs, this is one of the places to go to dance the night away. With a huge range of DJs playing the best house and techno tunes, this club is not to be missed.

2. The Garage

An establishment to Sauchiehall Street, the Garage can be spotted from a mile off by its distinctive yellow truck coming out the wall. Playing a wide range of pop, chart, and hip-hop, there’s a number of bars inside to choose from and themed nights each week.

3. The Cathouse

Attracting a more alternative crowd, the Catty now sports the tagline ‘not just for gawfs’. It plays the music from your teenage years: all things pop-punk and metal. It’s always a great laugh with a fun atmosphere.

4. SWG3

This warehouse has different events happening on a regular basis with some amazing club nights, including queer-friendly, acid house, and electronica. Look on their social media for their events!

5. Nice ‘n’ Sleazy

This bar has a reputation for being one of the coolest places to hang out with your friends with some good booze and good tunes. With plenty of posters for interesting decor and tons of banter, it’s got a really relaxed vibe. They have special gig and club nights all year round, so look out for these on their website.

6. Buff Club

A club for people of every age (as long as you’re over 18, obviously). It’s got a great casual vibe to go with its eclectic mix of funk and soul, disco, and R’n’b, complete with a mirror ball.

7. Flat 0/1

As we get older, house parties become few and far between. Fortunately, Flat 0/1 keeps the party going with the club decorated like your grandma’s house, complete with bed, squashy sofas and seats made from half a bathtub suspended from the ceiling. It’s unique and very fun. This is one of the best clubs in Glasgow!
