Places To Visit In Birmingham This Fall With Friends

If you’re just visiting for the day or you’re a local, there are always new things to do and see – and it doesn’t have to cost a bomb either! Birmingham offers fun daytime activities and it offers a fantastic nightlife that is sure to keep you entertained no matter what you love to do. Here are nine really great, reasonably-priced places in Birmingham that you can visit with friends this fall.

1. Ghetto Golf at the Custard Factory

If you’re looking for a fun night out with the squad, Ghetto Golf is definitely something to try. At just £10 per person for an 18 hole game, it isn’t a particularly expensive night out. Ghetto Golf also offers some fantastic cocktails and food, so be sure to arrive early and sit down for a catch up before you get into the game! Just make sure you book in advance as this place gets pretty booked up pretty fast.

2. Ice Skating

Ice skating is one of the best fall and winter activities. It isn’t overly expensive and you are guaranteed to have a good laugh when at least one of your friends will likely fall flat on their bum. Not far out from the centre at all, you can find Birmingham’s ice skating rink. Take your girl friends or boyfriend, or even go along with your family – no matter who you take you know you will be having a great time!

3. Cadbury World

If there is one thing Birmingham does well, it is chocolate! Just a short train journey from central Brum, Cadbury world is fun for all and any chocolate lovers – no matter what your age. With rides, fun photo opportunities, and plenty of chocolate to eat, what more can you ask for? Grab your biggest chocolate loving friends and head over to Bournville to visit Cadbury World!

4. Escape Live – Birmingham

Escape rooms are great fun, you are pretty much guaranteed to spend the whole time laughing. Take your pals along and have a good giggle as you panic and try to escape at birmingham’s Escape Live. It is reasonably priced and makes for a really fun daytime activity that involves no alcohol or food. If you are looking for a good laugh, Escape Live in Birmingham is the place to go this fall.

5. Everyman Cinema in the Mailbox

The Everyman cinema in the Mailbox is not just your regular cinema… This cinema has sofas, brings you meals and cocktails to your seat, and shows a real variety of new and older movies! Keep a regular eye on their website, as their showings change regularly, and book yourself and your friends a treat at the Everyman! Be sure to dress well as it is definitely posher than your average cinema, and book ahead as The Everyman is super popular and can get booked up fast.

6. The Glee Club

If you are looking for an absolute blast of a night, The Glee Club holds comedy nights, music nights, and plenty of fun other events such as cabaret and Burlesque. The Saturday night comedy nights make for a great 18+ night out for you and your friends. They do some really great deals if you book online, for example you can get tickets to the show with a burger just for £19.50 – and even cheaper if you are a student with ID!

7. Rush UK Trampoline Park

If you’re looking for a fun alternative to the gym that will be a great laugh with friends, Rush is right up your street. For around £10 per person, you can have an hour of trampolining, obstacle courses, and fun. There is also a cafe, so if you want to have a coffee and a slice of cake before or after, it makes for a really nice, alcohol-free day out that won’t break the bank!

8. Snobs nightclub

If you’re not too local to Birmingham, or if you’re not big on clubbing, you might not know, but Snobs is definitely the best nightclub in Birmingham. With three different floors to the club, playing all things 90s, noughties, and 2010s in the way of music, there is something for everyone! Alternatively, if clubbing isn’t really your thing and you are more of a bar lover, Snobs opens up in the daytime too, selling food and drink.

9. Pryzm Birmingham

If you have already experienced Snobs or are looking for something on the other side of town, Pryzm is a great alternative to Snobs. Pryzm is the largest club in Birmingham, with four huge rooms and a really great mixture of trance, RnB, hip hop and mash up from the DJs. Pryzm is definitely more upmarket and dressy than laidback Snobs, so you better get the girls together and get your best dresses on!
