Lunar Beauty By Manny Mua Is Here And Here’s Our Review
What was you doing on June 2nd? I am certain that if you are anything close to makeup obsessed like myself then you were most likely glued to your laptop waiting for the official release of Manny MUA x Lunar Beauty’s first ever product, Life’s a Drag! Manny Gutierrez AKA Manny MUA is a makeup artist and beauty guru with a massive following of 4.7 million followers on Instagram and 5 million subscribers on YouTube, his bold character and artistic talent is what attracts his supporters. He is known for being sassy, authentic and unfiltered in his videos and he can definitely teach you more than a thing or two on applying flawless makeup. Manny recently started his own makeup brand called Lunar Beauty and the first release of the brands new eyeshadow palette Life’s a Drag has got the whole beauty industry shook. Lunar Beauty is here and they have made there mark so here’s our review.
Life’s a Drag is a cruelty free eyeshadow palette, it contains 14 shades in total with a duo eyeshadow brush and a mirror. There is a clear distinction between shades, 6 of the shadows are neutral shades, 2 are metallic shades and 6 are colourful shades. The palette comes in a beautiful metallic rose gold packaging, as soon as you see the product it looks glamourous and chic. The actual palette itself is just as fabulous, it features a holographic photograph of Manny MUA in drag makeup which is a perfect representation of the concept of the palette. The shades are inspired by drag and the LGBT community and there is such a balance in the distribution of shade range as there is literally an eye look for every person. If you’re not a bright or bold person, there is a good ratio of neutral shades for a potential warm smoky eye and if you love a pop of colour then you’ve got the right colours to do just that. The only thing that is a downer, in terms of the colours, is that it only has two metallic shades and I don’t mean to be ungrateful, but that is slightly heart breaking for glitter lovers out there. Sorry glitter lovers this palette is matte central and it may not be your cup of tea, but the 2 metallic shades which are in the palette, ‘Beat’ and ‘Legendary’ are absolutely breath taking and there is no denying that!
Based on YouTube reviews from beauty influencers such as Jackie Aina and Jamie Genevieve, the camera doesn’t do the eyeshadow palette any justice compared to how it looks in real life, could it really look any better than it does already? In each review the shadows seem to blend out seamlessly and there hasn’t been any poor feedback on the quality of the eyeshadow itself, Manny MUA you really outdid yourself with this one! I can definitely say that the Lunar Beauty Life’s a Drag palette gets the solid gold seal of approval on our end. There is no need to hesitate, you need this palette in your life as much as I do. Life’s a Drag retails for $45, which I think is a pretty reasonable price for 14 shades, a duo eyeshadow brush and a mirror, especially with that flawless packaging. This palette can be purchased on the Lunar Beauty website which offers worldwide shipping, of course no one wants to have to wait or pay extra for shipping, but guess what? We actually don’t have to because Life’s a Drag is coming to BeautyBay UK, so Manny MUA didn’t leave us out after all, result!

If I am not giving myself a near death experience in the gym, I am either adding makeup to my BeautyBay basket which I have no intentions nor the financial funds to buy, or I am stuffing my face whilst singing along to Mama Mia.
