Sunscreen is an absolute must in your daily skincare routine. Not only does it protect your skin from harmful rays, but sunscreen is the number one anti-ageing product to have in your skincare arsenal. Try these eight sunscreens if your skin is on the drier side, for perfectly protected skin all year ‘round.

1. La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Ultra-Light Fluid SPF 50+

Promising review:

I have used many different sunscreens in my skincare routine but this is my favourite. It is super lightweight and great under makeup. The best thing about this sunscreen for me is that it is non-comedogenic so it doesn’t clog my pores or break me out. It has a very subtle smell that doesn’t bother me and it does go away as soon as it you have patted it onto the skin. It rubs in quite easily and sits well with all my moisturizers. It is a staple product that is a necessary step. I love it!

2. Paula’s Choice Resist Skin Restoring Moisturizer with SPF 50+

Promising review:

When I first put this on……. the first words out of my mouth were “wow”. This glided on the skin. Absorbed immediately. No SPF dead face. Soft supple skin. Not greasy. It is exactly everything an SPF should be. Every single brand can eliminate their products. This is the best SPF on the market hands down. I dare you to find better

Great to wear under make up or just on its own. I found it gave great protection for me when I spent the weekend outdoors in the garden without the need to wear makeup, which I normally always do. I used it on my arms as well and it gave a lovely glow and evened our my skin tone.

Promising review:

This COSRX sun cream has become my go-to sunscreen as it provides the perfect level of protection, hydration and moisture to my skin. And most importantly, it has never caused me any irritation or any breakouts. It is moisturizing, soothing but non-heavy duty, making it the perfect sunscreen for all skin types, even sensitive skin!

I use it as an eye cream under my concealer and it’s perfect – it’s a mineral sunscreen so it doesn’t irritate my eyes. It’s cheaper than most eye creams, moisturizing, and has SPF protection that most eye creams these days are lacking.

7. Cetaphil Dermacontrol Oil Free Facial Moisturising Lotion SPF 25

Promising review:

Applies so smoothly and makes my skin look calm and fresh. I’m so happy to find a product for acne prone skin with both a high SPF and ceramides. I prefer this formula to my top end moisturisers. Have just finished my first bottle and will be repurchasing this week & am excited to try some more cetaphil products.

8. Cancer Council SPF 50+ Sensitive

Promising review:

I really like this product as it is not sticky and I use it on my face every day under makeup (if I’m wearing any) and it sits great. It’s not too oily or drying which is great and protects my skin from UV rays (UVA AND UVB). Definitely recommend! It moisturises and soothes skin which I love.
