Beyoncé headlined at Coachella these past two weekends, marking her return to the stage post her second pregnancy. She returned along with her and Jay-Z’s twins, making her the first African American female to headline the festival and cementing her status as the baddest bitch! Here’s why we all need to pay more attention to Beyoncé’s Coachella performance;
Bey shut down Coachella in a way that only should could and because of it, the annual festival was affectionately renamed #BeyChella.
Queen Bey’s return to the stage was highly anticipated, and she did not disappoint.
Her curvaceous body is even more banging and showed how she’s still got it even being a mother of three. And her powerful vocals and captivating dance moves had the crowd going – and us at home watching the live stream on YouTube, feeling ecstatic and trying to emulate her moves.
Bey’s Coachella performance was the definition of amazing! She performed a majority of her hit songs like her classic “Crazy in Love” and “Don’t Hurt Yourself”. What was incredibly phenomenal about her performance was how she strongly represented for HBCU which stands for ‘Historically Black Colleges and Universities’, with the inclusion of an HBCU-like marching band and drum line.
It was a beyond amazing thing in general to see, but especially for the African American culture which Bey always represents to the fullest!
During the course of her historic performance, Beyoncé brought out some special guests. Such as: her husband Jay-Z who helped her perform one of their hits together “Deja Vu, her sister Solange who danced spectacularly with her to “Get Me Bodied” and Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams for a quick Destiny’s Child reunion that made fans go wild!
Her stellar outfits that all were custom made by Balmain, also deserve a mention because they looked beyond amazing on her!
…And made me realize how I need to go even harder in the gym if I want my body to look even remotely close to as impeccable as hers does in a leotard.
Simply put, Beyoncé is everything and the baddest bitch alive!
