On The Go Breakfasts You Can Make Yourself

Every Conn student is guilty of sleeping through their alarm and barely having time to grab food before rushing off to class. Next time it happens to you, try these On The Go breakfasts you can make yourself in Harris. Breakfast truly is the most important meal of the day, so don’t miss out on these great tips!

Cereal

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Directions: Grab a red solo cup and a plastic spoon from your dorm room to bring to Harris with you, and pour yourself a big cup of on the go cereal! It’s perfect to carry to class with you, and is mess-free!  

Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich

Prep Time: 7 minutes

Directions: Pop two slices bread in the toaster, and while it’s toasting, snag a banana from the fruit bowl and cut it up. Once the bread is toasted, spread some peanut butter on it, and top with the sliced banana. Peanut butter and banana is a classic combination, and the protein is sure to keep you full through class!

Bagel with Cream Cheese

Prep Time: 5 minutes (or 2 minutes if you don’t toast your bagel!)

Directions: Pick your bagel, toast it, add some cream cheese, butter, jam, or peanut butter, and you’re good to go!

Muffin and Banana

Prep Time: 2 minutes

Directions: Harris always stocks their bakery section with muffins and other delicious breakfast foods. Grab a muffin and some fruit to go with it, and you’ve got yourself a balanced breakfast!

Breakfast Sandwich

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Directions: Toast a bagel or English muffin, then pile on some scrambled eggs, a slice of cheese, some bacon, and a slice of tomato. Bonus points if you have time to get a fried egg at the omelet station. Wrap your sandwich in a napkin for easy travel.

Prep Time: 5 minutes
