10 Best Dessert Spots In Nashville For The Ultimate Foodie

These dessert spots in Nashville are perfect for any foodie out there! The food is delicious and it looks good enough to post pics to your Instagram!

Calling all foodies! If dessert is your favorite meal of the day, then this article is made for you and your sweet tooth. The restaurants in Nashville are amazing, but let me tell you, the dessert spots are even better! Like I said in my previous article, when you go to Nashville, not only will you have a great time, but you will also eat SO well. After your meal at one of Nashville’s hottest restaurants, treat yourself with some dessert at one of their most popular dessert spots. Here is your guide to 10 of the best dessert spots in Nashville!

1. Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream

This is by far the best ice cream shop in Nashville. Jeni’s, which has multiple locations throughout Tennessee, serves homemade ice cream and frozen yogurts in very classic and unique flavors. One unique thing about this ice cream shop is that the flavors are always changing, and they are all so good! Some of their most popular flavors are brambleberry crisp, churro, and dark chocolate truffle. Follow Jeni’s on Instagram to keep up with all of the new flavors! This is one of the greatest dessert spots in Nashville.

2. No Baked Cookie Dough

This has got to be one of the most trendy dessert places right now in Nashville. Instead of serving fresh cookies, this spot serves you fresh cookie dough (amazing, am I right?!). Not only do they serve typical chocolate chip cookie dough, they have over 10 different cookie dough flavors and toppings. If you love red velvet, you have try it out! You can enjoy the cookie dough in a cup or a waffle cone, but I suggest a cup because it is super filling. Be sure to take a bunch of pictures when you are here, as this spot is so cute and trendy and the perfect place to snap a bunch of Insta-worthy pics. This is one of the best dessert spots in Nashville!

3. Soda Parlor

The Soda Parlor, a little spot in East Nashville, offers killer floats, waffle mondaes and moonshines to satisfy all of your sweet tooth cravings! The floats are a combination of craft soda with homemade ice cream, and topped with whipped cream and sprinkles, to create the perfect ice cream soda drink. I suggest getting the Master Commander drink. The waffle mondaes are to die for — it is an ice cream sundae served on a chocolate Belgian waffle, and topped with whipped cream, cookies, brownies and caramel sauce. It is AMAZING! You can also order a moonshake, which is basically a milkshake but ten times better. Honestly, just order one of everything because you just need to try it all! Enjoy your desserts and play a few arcade games while you are there.

4. Las Paletas

While you are in 12South, either eating at one of the restaurants, sitting at the bars, or taking a picture in front of the famous ‘I Believe in Nashville’ sign, you have to stop by Las Paletas for a popsicle. They offer ‘cream’ paletas, that have the texture of an ice cream bar and are filled with pieces of candy or cookies, and ‘fruit’ paletas that have the texture of a traditional ice pop and are filled with fresh fruits or veggies. If you want a fruit bar, you have to get the strawberry one, and if you want a cream bar, you have to get the chocolate! These are the best popsicles I’ve ever had!

5. Dulce Desserts

Dulce Desserts serves delicious, fresh and homemade cupcakes on the daily. This shop offers regular, traditional flavored cupcakes, along with their special flavored cupcakes, which changes every month. Check their website or social media pages to find out the cupcake flavor of the month. Their most popular cupcakes are vanilla sprinkle, cinnamon red velvet, double chocolate and cookies and cream. Order one of each so you can get a taste of all of the flavors!
