After a breakup things are tough, you spend the majority of your time with one person then all of sudden they’re gone. It can be difficult at first, most girls go a little loopy after a split. 1. Bad: You change your appearance

After a break up you tend to lose self-confidence, you feel like you want a fresh start, so what better way than to change your hair colour?  Most girls will make a drastic change to start a fresh chapter in their lives, but the reality is that changing hair colour shows you are desperately trying to be someone new, love yourself for who you are, you do not have to change.

2. Bad: You go on tinder

Quite often after a breakup girls will turn to Tinder for an ego boost. As the saying goes” You have to get under someone to get over someone.” Tinder is the perfect place to find yourself a rebound, but it’s not wise to move on so quickly. Of course take all the compliments you need but if you become a serial dater you will never get over your ex, you will just compare him to every bad date. You need time to heal after a breakup, so delete the dating apps and be on your own for a while. You should learn to love yourself and be happy alone before rushing into something new.

3. Bad: You text your ex

Most girls have gotten drunk after a break up and sent a message that they wish they could unsend. It’s that cringey moment when you wake up the next morning and realise what you’ve done, you want the ground to open up and swallow you. When you no it’s over, delete his number!

If you’re feeling a little down in the dumps it’s always a good idea to pamper yourself. Some people lose confidence after a break up, so it’s a good idea to take care of yourself. When you feel good on the outside you will start to feel good on the inside too.

2. Good: Delete social media or block ex

You’ve blocked his number and his Facebook account but what about the other ten apps you have him on? The best thing to do after a break up is to block your ex on every form of social media or even better delete it all together. Sometimes when you’re going through a difficult time in your life it’s nice to take a break from the world of Social media. You should take some time out for yourself, let’s face it do you really want to see pictures of your ex and his new girlfriend on Instagram?

3. Good: See your girlfriends

Sometimes when going through a breakup we hide ourselves away. We ignore our friends and spend days in bed watching romantic movies and crying into a tub of Ben and Jerries ice cream. The best thing to do after a breakup is to see your friends.  Make sure to surround yourself with people you love, that way you will do just fine!
