Going to University is an experience which changes depending on the University that you attend. Drink, laughter, clubbing, revising, life at university is fast paced and independent and depending on your surroundings will make your life at uni full of funny and weird questions which you will constantly ask yourself. Here are 10 funny questions which a University of Hertfordshire student will 100% ask themselves throughout their degree.
1.  Am I really going to The Forum again?
The Forum is a great way to socialise and party with friends, BUT it’s basically your second home. Student events have hosted big a-list stars such as Nelly but have also hosted the cheeky girls, so it is certain that every University of Hertfordshire student will question going to The Forum at least once. #CheekyCheeky.
2. What day of the week is it?
Lack of sleep, eating patterns all over the place, deadlines to meet, uni isn’t easy and it will all, especially the clubbing and drinking, sooner or later catch up with you. It is normal to get confused about the day isn’t it?????
3. Where the F**K is the Park and Ride?!?!
The park and ride buses are the most used transportation method to get from campus to campus, but it is never on time. If University of Hertfordshire students got £1 for every time they had a near mental breakdown because of the bus being late they’d be no need to go to uni and get a degree because we’d all be rich.
4. Am I really going to get work done in the LRC?
Yes, the LRC (library) is the place designed for students to complete their work or sometimes have their seminars but the De Havilland LRC does exactly the opposite. If you can concentrate through the racket, then that deserves a degree in itself.
5. Alcoholic beverage?
When times get tough or when times can’t get better, your best friend is your favourite drink. Who doesn’t like a good old drink to enlighten the mood, mines a vodka and lemonade if your buying.
6. Is university really for me?
Every student would be lying if they deny ever questioning university. Whether that’s due to partying to hard, a different environment or too much work, this question is on every UH students lips at least once.
7. Moes or Dominoes?
University of Hertfordshire students make takeaway restaurants like Moes and Dominoes a killing and are the most used delivery options in the area. This debate is a frequent one in the head of a UH takeaway lover.
8. Is the 9am really worth it?
9am lectures throughout the week are missions and just add to the daily struggles of a UH student. Especially after an ATWU party on a Monday or a Cheeky Wednesday party, a 9am start is the last thing you want to do. Smelling like the donor kebab you had on the way home, staring at your lecturer who isn’t making any sense is as close to hell that you can get.
9. Chicken and rice again?
Am I really going to have chicken and rice again? The University of Hertfordshire café dishes up the popular chicken and rice combo every day and most days, if not every it is the most appealing dinner on the menu. You wonder why takeaways are the best option for dinner.
10. Is it really worth 9 grand?
Every University of Hertfordshire students ask themselves this and answers it the same. Yes, uni is hard and tiring but being a UH student is unreal and nonstop laughter. To block parties, to Forum parties UH is fun all year round except waiting for them crappy buses.
