5 Relaxing Youtube Channels That Will Ease Your Anxiety

Need some serious destressing? Well, grab your hot chocolate and curl up in bed, because we know exactly the relaxing YouTube channels you want to watch!

Anxiety is a part of life – and a byproduct of the stresses we can’t avoid. Sometimes, we just need to curl up in bed with some relaxing YouTube channels at the end of a long day.

If you struggle to check your anxiety at the front door, these YouTubers might be able to help you de-stress!

1. Jenna Marbles

YouTube queen, owner of small, skinny dogs, and our fave 32 year-old-lady. Jenna has been creating content for us for years in her own relaxing YouTube channel – and with a success that reflects the quality of her content.

She has videos where she paints, where she bakes for her boyfriend’s birthday, where she throws her dogs pool parties – there are plant tours, house tours, bad dye jobs and videos where she just laughs at jokes made from her content by fans.

Jenna Marbles has always been a lover of weird internet crazes, and takes it all in with good-natured humour. She has one of the most relaxing YouTube channels around!

2. Baumgartner Restoration

This YouTube channel is dedicated to the restoration of historic pieces of fine art! Sounds exciting, right?

Of all relaxing YouTube channels, this one is perfect for melting away anxiety like varnish from a three-hundred-year-old painting. That, in itself, is why it’s such a relaxing YouTube channel. There’s nothing more relaxing than seeing something cleaned up and made to be as it was. Aside from it being satisfying to watch the successful restoration of art, the art restorer on the channel has a nice, even voice to listen to.

And if you don’t want to listen to someone talk to you about art, no worries! The ASMR videos on the channel are just as relaxing to have playing while you’re cooking dinner, reading a book, or falling asleep.

3. Life With Mak

If ASMR is your thing – and it is a thing for some people, for sure – Life With Mak has the relaxing YouTube channel for you.

We preach this one mostly because of the humour in some of this YouTuber’s videos, though the ASMR is fine in and of itself. Some people love to hear the small sounds that we usually don’t notice about life, while you might just appreciate listening to someone with a harmless (albeit dry) sense of humour for once.

But I mean, ASMR of an air hostess being rude to a passenger in flight is always funny – and a great distraction from regular life.

4. Ladylike

Sometimes you just want to sit there and watch other people be happy, doing weird things like trying on hoop skirts, or travelling to Canada with no clothes in their suitcase. Because, I mean, we’d do it too if capitalism weren’t riding our asses and forcing us to work 9-5 all week.

More so, this relaxing YouTube channel is about seeing a group of women having fun and supporting each other. The dream, honestly.

It’s nice to see that life ain’t all that shit, and to shove some of that happiness in the face of your anxieties. Ladylike have your back when it comes this!

5. Bob Ross

The creator and host of his own instructional TV show, Bob Ross found success in painting tutorials for an American audience.

Though his success was at its height in the 90’s, YouTube has reinvigorated interest in his videos by giving him a (posthumous) relaxing YouTube channel.

Watching someone paint is relaxing enough already, but Bob Ross is a soft-spoken genuine delight! Watching him paint mountains and lakes in this relaxing YouTube channel is the ultimate de-stressor!
