How To Recreate The Best Runway Looks From Fashion Month 2018

Fashion month 2018 was filled to the brim with so many great looks. We've put together some options to help you recreate some of them!

Fashion month 2018 has been and gone in a flash, with designers exciting us with new runway looks through September 2018. We were presented with the Spring/Summer 2019 collections from the major fashion hubs of New York, London, Milan and Paris. Here are ways you can recreate the best runway looks from fashion month so you are ahead of the trends in the coming seasons.

Look 1 – Bring Wild Life Into Your Wardrobe

Mui Mui continued championing the animal print trend in their Spring/Summer 2019 show. A huge trend that is hard to escape from this autumn isn’t going anywhere in the coming seasons. It definitely looks like there is no slowing down for animal prints so it’s well worth investing in a few versatile pieces. The glossy snake print skirt was a stand out piece in the Mui Mui fashion show – check out All Saints for a shorter, alternative version; a piece guaranteed to turn heads! Style the skirt with a cream jumper or a white t-shirt and leather jacket.

Look 3 – Wear Your Favourite Movie

A cohort of models wearing t-shirts with movie posters emblazoned across the front came stomping down the runway this fashion month at the Calvin Klein show. Horror films are becoming designer Raf Simons main inspiration. Follow suit and invest in a few fun t-shirts. From Jaws to Pulp Fiction, throw them on with your favourite pair of jeans and boots for a cool but casual 90s inspired look.

Look 6 – Unusual Denim

Designers have been getting more and more creative with their denim styles as seasons have passed and they were serious about it during fashion month 2018. Forget you’re A-line denim skirt, plain blue shades and black skinny jeans, opt for something more creative and eye-catching! Instead of your usual wash of denim, try a bolder colour, like pink and conquer two trends in one. Or opt for some crazy tie-dye denim for a fresh twist as seen on the runway at House of Holland during fashion month.
