You’ve secured your tinder or bumble date or you’ve made plans with bae to do something on the weekend. But then you’re left thinking… what? Maybe you live here or go to uni in Nottingham, and if you do you’ll know how great Notts is as a city. It’s not massive but there is so much to do. I wouldn’t call it the city of love but there are many opportunities to make that bumble date pop or celebrate your anniversary in style.  1. Hole in one
The Lost City Adventure golf in town is potentially the hub of Nottingham dating life. I mean you’ve probably been there at some point… on a date. The mini challenge has two golf courses to choose from and a range of challenging holes to score with, if you’re not making progress with any others. *wink wink* Who doesn’t love bringing a competitive edge to a date? Recently, there has also opened up a new mini golf course on the University of Nottingham campus. So if you’re a student it’s not even that far to go. If not, the tram stop is literally right outside.
 2. Meow
The Cat Café in town is certainly one way to show off your compassionate side, if you’re that way inclined on a date. Best part is you can have lunch, or tea and cake, whilst being surrounding by the cutest cats and kittens. Show off your soft side, and hopefully not your allergies, and impress your date with your animal charms.
3. City Farm
Continuing on the theme of being at one with nature, head to the city farm on a date! You get to feed goats and pigs and even hold rabbits if you want too. Plus, it’s a free day out! Don’t let your dating life die because you’re a bit short on money this month.

Take a boat trip out on the University of Nottingham lake! You get to see a lovely view of the Trent building. Row away your worries and spend some one on one quality time with your date. There are a lot of really cute bars and drink spots in Notts to take advantage of. These include Pepper Rocks and The Hockley Arts Club. If you fancy somewhere a bit edgier, try Bodega or Brew Dog where you can even play video games inside. Challenge your date to a game of ping pong at Das Kino if you want to keep up that competitive edge.
8. GTFO
