5 Things To Have In Your Purse During A Night Out

There are few things more fun than a night out with your friends. Having a great time is something everyone can agree is important but it’s frustrating when you’re out or wake up the next morning without some of the items you need. If you’ve ever found yourself wishing you brought out more than just your phone and wallet, this list is for you. Here are five things to have in your purse during a night out!

1. Toothpaste

Toothpaste is incredibly important for a variety of reasons. If you feel like talking to that cute person at the end of the bar but you have rancid beer breath consider getting a small tube of toothpaste. No need for a toothbrush, just wash your hands, put a bit in your mouth with water and swig it around like mouthwash. This method won’t make your dentist proud but it’s enough to get the job done. If you find yourself sleeping the night somewhere you’ll be extra thankful you have this so you can avoid the dreaded morning breath! Burt’s Bees Purely White Flouride-Free Toothpaste zen mint.

2. Tampon

Another important thing to have in your purse is a tampon. Make sure that you are always prepared with at least one tampon on you at all times because it could save you or a friend. These babies can be really hard to find and don’t expect to find a nice little tampon dispenser everywhere you go. Plus even if you make a run into a convenience store they aren’t sold individually and you don’t want to carry around a box of tampons with you!

3. Spare Cash

Even if you’re only going to places that take your card make sure you always have cash on you. If you find yourself without a card because it’s lost or stolen a bit of spare cash can be the difference between getting you home safely versus having to walk. Technology is fantastic and fast but it can also be unreliable at times. Having cash doesn’t mean you have to spend it, but knowing you have it in case anything goes wrong is always a good feeling! If you’re worried about where to carry it consider investing in a small wallet like the one below, it’s enough just to carry your ID, a card and cash.

4. Bobby Pins

Yes, a hair tie is important to have but you’d be surprised how useful bobby pins are. They fit in even the smallest of pockets and can help keep your hair out of your face. Plus losing a few bobby pins won’t make you feel half as bad as losing your favorite hair tie. They’re also more sanitary to share because they’re metal, you can wash them before giving one away or accepting one. Bobby pins can also help hold clothes together, not for long, but enough to make it into a Lyft and back to your house!

5. Moisturizer

Last but certainly not least, moisturizer. Sure you may be sweating in the club now but when it dries up your face might become a desert. Apply it after patting the excess makeup off your face to get the full effect. Although this particular moisturizer is for your hands and body it is gentle enough to be used on your face if you need to. If you are drinking your body is going to become dehydrated, from the inside out. You’ll definitely want to chug a lot of water and make sure your body is properly protected with quality lotion. Bonus points because this lotion has SPF in it too!
