The Ultimate Cheap Dorm Fridge List You Have To See

Dorm life can be a difficult adjustment, all of the sudden, life as you knew it at home with your family and friend’s changes in the quick flip of a switch. You now have to make your own choices, you have to learn how to make good decisions and figure out what works and what doesn’t for you. One of the hardest parts about dorm life surprisingly is none other than, food. What do you buy? How do you cook it? What’s good for you and what isn’t? The second most difficult part about dorm life has to be learning how to properly control your finances, and what better way to maintain a balanced grocery list than with this list of cheap dorm room fridge list essentials.

Breakfast:

Toasted Peanut Butter Banana Sandwich

Ok, yes, I will admit this sounds super basic but peanut butter sandwiches are a classic. Not to mention, peanut butter is almost always on sale, bananas last a good week or two, and a loaf of bread cost next to nothing. If you’re worried about the bread expiring before you eat it all, throw it in the freezer to preserve its shelf life a million times longer. Also, you can always switch the peanut butter up for other nut based butters. Almond butter will be sure to put a smile on your face every morning if you allow it!

I was always pretty skeptical about microwaving my eggs, however my life was recently changed. Not only is it quick and efficient, the way the it turns out as a beautiful scrambled cloud of fluffy egg is actually really surprising plus, you can always spruce them up with some of your favourite cheese, chives or peppers! A carton of eggs won’t cost you much and a dozen will likely last you a few weeks.
