Incompatible Zodiac Signs: Here’s Who You Should NOT Date
Zodiac signs have been around since the dawn of time… or something like that. They’re a popular source for advice on various aspects of life, including but not limited to, personality traits and your love life. You’ll often hear professional astrologists advising on who your perfect match would be based on your zodiac sign, but what about who you should steer clear from? We’re here with suggestions on who you should probably never date based on incompatible zodiac signs.
If you are an Aries:Â March 20- April 20
You should NOT date: Aries, Taurus, Cancer
What happens when you put two Aries together? Competition. Lots of competition. Relationships are unlikely to thrive if you’re constantly pitted against each other. Some incompatible zodiac signs manage to make it work, but most do not.
An Aries and a Taurus? There will be no end to arguments. Between the two of them, they’d probably be so stubborn they wouldn’t even end the relationship.
As for Cancer, they have sensitive souls and tend to lean toward the cautious side of things. They would never adapt to the Aries way of debatably reckless living.
If you are a Taurus:Â April 20- May 21
You should NOT date: Aries, Gemini, Aquarius

Though Gemini’s are known to be one of the easiest signs to get along with, that just simply isn’t the case with Taurus. Gemini is often associated with a super hectic lifestyle, whereas a Taurus would rather spend their day relaxing and being pampered.
A Taurus and Aquarius together is just nonsense. Their signs may not be opposite, but their personalities sure are. They say opposites attract, but not in this case. Depending on how opposite you are, you may not be incompatible zodiac signs after all. It all depends on placement.
If you are a Gemini:Â May 21- June 21
You should NOT date: Pisces, Gemini, Capricorn
A Pisces and a Gemini could honestly be a great match, but it could also be a huge disaster. Due to their communication styles, things could get ugly real quick. Sometimes incompatible zodiac signs can work, but sometimes they just can’t.
The Gemini lifestyle can be so hectic, at times it can almost seem as though a Gemini is two different people with separate personalities. If you put two Gemini’s together, that potentially gives you four personalities. Let’s just stick to two per relationship to make it easier.
A Capricorn is not nearly interesting or spontaneous enough for a Gemini. Gemini’s are much too free living for a Capricorn to ever hold their interest for long. If you want to give it a go and see if you can make incompatible zodiac signs work in a relationship, all the power to ya.

You should NOT date: Aries, Cancer, Scorpio

Some signs just shouldn’t try to come together in an intimate relationship. That goes for Cancer. Cancer’s tend to be very emotional. Unless two Cancers can find a way to understand one another very deeply, there’s just no way that much emotion can work.
A Cancer and a Scorpio should absolutely never date. A Cancer is very sensitive and emotional, making them the perfect target for a manipulative Scorpio. Manipulation is never good in a relationship.
If you are a Leo: July 23 – August 23
You should NOT date: Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn
A Leo and a Virgo will make a match that is far from perfect. A Leo tends to have a short fuse and a Virgo may be too quick to judge, causing a lot of animosity toward one another.
If you are a Leo you should never try to date a Scorpio. “Why?”, you ask. Scorpios tend to be very jealous, and this does not bode well for the flirty extroverted Leo.
A Leo and a Capricorn? Forget about it. A Leo is too passionate and a Capricorn is too practical. The challenges these two personalities would face together would be far too much for most people.
If you are a Virgo: August 23 – September 23
You should NOT date: Aries, Sagittarius
A Virgo and an Aries can both be brutally honest personalities. Though this can be a great trait, an Aries does not take well to criticism.
A Virgo and a Sagittarius in a relationship will never have complete trust. Trust is key to a solid healthy relationship. A Sagittarius won’t consider your feelings before they act.
If you are a Libra: September 23 – October 23
You should NOT date: Libra, Scorpio, Cancer
Libra’s tend to be very selfish. Two selfish people in a relationship together? Yeah, no.
A Libra is all about harmony, whereas a Scorpio tends to be very intense. They will have no problem disrupting the harmony and that just will not do for a Libra.
A Cancer and Libra are opposites in more ways than one. Though they are both very emotional, they are in completely different ways. A Cancer is a little too grounded for Libra, it just won’t work.
If you are a Scorpio: October 23 – November 22
You should NOT date: Scorpio, Aries, Aquarius
A Scorpio and a Scorpio together is just a bad idea. This relationship would be full of possessiveness and jealousy. Not qualities of a healthy relationship.
An Aries and a Scorpio both bring passion to a relationship. While passion is good, too much can ruin it. They are both power hungry and lean toward jealousy, which can result in a lot of heated arguments. Nobody wants that in a relationship.
A Scorpio and an Aquarius walked into a bar… they will not come out together. An Aquarius thrives on freedom and will not do well with a possessive partner like a Scorpio.
If you are a Sagittarius: November 22 – December 22
You should NOT date: Virgo, Cancer, Taurus, Sagittarius
A Virgo is not nearly risky enough for a Sagittarius. While a Sagittarius loves to try new things, a Virgo is much more reserved.
Often times, a Sagittarius and a Cancer don’t even find each other attractive. That should be enough of a reason to keep you two apart.
A Taurus is just much too practical for a spontaneous Sagittarius.
A Sagittarius is not likely to find enough commitment or passion in another Sagittarius to settle down together. You may have a lovely fling, but it isn’t likely to last long-term.
If you are a Capricorn: December 22 – January 20
You should NOT date: Sagittarius, Libra, Capricorn
A Sagittarius is much too reckless for a serious sign such as Capricorn. The spontaneity of a Sagittarius would prove to be too much for a Capricorn.
It can be hard for a Capricorn and a Libra to find common ground. What point is there in a relationship with no common interests? No point. Can you say snoozefest?
These two signs really just shouldn’t try to date one another. Would you really want to date yourself? If the answer is yes, you may need an ego check.
If you are an Aquarius: January 20 – February 18
You should NOT date: Cancer, Virgo
An Aquarius and a Cancer have too many differences they just won’t be able to accept each other. Do yourself a favor and avoid this heartbreak waiting to happen.
A Virgo and an Aquarius are such polar opposites when it comes to personality it just will not work. You can easily bring out the worst in each other and that just won’t work in the long run.
If you are a Pisces: February 18 – March 20
You should NOT date: Gemini, Leo, Pisces
A Pisces won’t be able to get a Gemini to settle down. Gemini’s need their freedom, if they begin to feel tied down, they’ll quickly distance themselves.
Finding a Pisces and a Leo in a relationship is very unlikely. A Leo comes with a strong personality and they’ll most likely view Pisces as weak and their dreamy state to be too unrealistic.
It can be said over and over again. Don’t try to date your own sign. Just don’t. This will most certainly end in disaster. Incompatible zodiac signs often include your own.
