10 Easter Decorations So Cute You’ll Want To Keep Them Out All Spring Long

When it comes to Easter decorations, some may be fond of the idea of bunnies and baby chicks all over the place. But for others, that may be a bit too generic, or just pointless if they don’t celebrate it. Yes, it is a sacred Christian holiday, but it has become more materialistic over time with the addition of baskets left by the Easter bunny. This generally includes chocolate, stuffed toys, and other gifts that can bring any child joy. As an adult, it is fun to reminisce childhood memories like that and apply it to your home décor, especially if you’re one to be a little more subtle. These are 10 Easter Decorations that are so cute you’ll want to keep them out all spring long. Some of these decorations might even extend the spring into the summer.

1. Anything Pastel Colored

I put this first broad idea in its own category because it could apply to literally anything. Inching away from the colors of winter that are more dramatic while sophisticated, the colors you see in most Easter decorations are the pastel blues, greens, pinks, purples, and everything in between. They represent a new beginning, that fresh start for anyone and everyone at the start of the season. You can shower your home with these colors in whatever form you want, whether it’s in the form of a throw blanket, rug, or pillow(s), a cover for the sofa, or even a light pink star lamp.

2. Flower Garland

For any occasion occurring in the springtime, you can’t get any more vernal equinox than the flowers in the process of blooming after a long, cold winter. You got roses, tulips, lilies, lilacs, daffodils, and even sunflowers that brighten up the room with their natural beauty. If your worries include flowers going bad, a garland is the next best thing to make the room sparkle. If you really want to get creative, you can make your own using real flowers.

3. Glass Jar Vase

Flowers of all shapes and sizes can really bring a room together during the springtime. But, sometimes a regular vase doesn’t do the job of making a bouquet stand out. Like most projects we see today, this is where glass jars, also known as “Mason jars”, come into play. It’s a perfect idea for multiple smaller centerpieces rather than a couple bigger ones because then it eliminates the process of having to choose certain rooms to place them. One room can be daisies, one can be roses, lilies, sunflowers, baby’s breath, and anything you can think of. You could even place several in the same space if you wanted to.

4. Easter Basket Treat Tower

Usually, the first thing that comes to mind when I think about Easter is the plastic eggs that are hidden all over the garden, usually with some sweet treasures hidden inside. Why not apply this for your Easter decorations at home? Stack each basket on top of the other, you can choose between metal or twine, and fill each one with different treats. One could be filled with jellybeans, another with Cadbury and other chocolate eggs, and another could be filled with Peeps. The possibilities are almost endless!

5. Floral Tassel Garland

Taking some inspiration from Meethaha, DIY projects can help add that little bit of love into your home décor. And, I personally cannot refuse the addition of gold added to the lovely pastels that help represent the springtime. Simply using tissue paper for the tassels, flowers, and leaves, this multi-step tutorial can add that extra oomph to your walls, door, or even to your dining room centerpiece.

6. Giant Knit Bunny

Of course, the primary mascot of Easter that is most commonly seen is a bunny that hops around the garden, carrot in hand, dropping eggs in creative places filled with the treats we all know and love. This next décor idea brings that loveable bunny right into your home, and it’s added fun for the kids as well!

7. Tulip Carrot Door Hanger

Continuing with one of the foods enjoyed by a bunny, particularly the Easter bunny, is a decoration that looks good enough to munch on. This uses the color of tulips that represent happiness, enthusiasm, and desire, that will give your front door that perfect amount of brightness that the springtime would give any garden or centerpiece that extra sparkle. Much like that first sunny day at the start of the equinox.

8. Sunburst-Style Dogwood Wreath

If the carrot wreath is too Easter and not subtle enough for you, this next idea is definitely worthy to keep on the front door even until fall or winter. Take some inspiration from HGTV’s guide to creating your own, giving your home that extra inch of love, or find one on places like Wayfair that would suit how you make your house a home.

9. Rustic Vase

Rustic is considered a year-round theme for anyone’s home, as well as get-togethers like weddings and even Christmas. For this idea for some cute Easter decorations, it can really go in different directions in terms of flower placement. It could be a rustic metal, or something very similar to the tree bark outside that has its new green leaves flourishing. Heck, you could even surround it with leaves to really make it look like a tree.

10. Butterfly Garland

Of course, the time that spring rolls on by is the time that birds fly back up north, and the caterpillars emerge from their cocoons and turn into butterflies. Especially in the springtime, nothing beats stepping into a butterfly garden whether they’re their own enclosed space, or if fake ones are hung on the wall. Such beauty from their bright and colorful wing flaps going even into the summer equinox reminds you how beautiful nature really is.
