If you’re a student at IWU, you know that while Marion, Indiana is a small city, there are lots of big cities around it! Check out some awesome places to visit that make for the perfect fall road trips in Indiana. From sightseeing to museums, you’re sure to have a great fall!

1. Take photos at the top of Monument Circle in Indianapolis.

Indy is only about one hour away, so it’s great for even just a day trip! Head to the Monument Circle and try some South Bend Company chocolate, walk up all of the 32 flights of stairs to the top of the tower, and take lots of Instagram-worthy pics on the circle.

2. Catch the bus to Millennium Park in Chicago.

Chi-town is about 3 hours away from Marion, and would be the best weekend trip! To save gas, take the Megabus from Indy to get there. There are endless sightseeing places in The Windy City—The Bean, Navy Pier, Millennium Park, Willis Tower, and much, much more!

3. Visit the cute animals at the zoo in Fort Wayne!

Only about 55 minutes away, Fort Wayne has lots of unique places to explore with your friends! Be sure to visit cute animals at the zoo, solve mysteries at The Escape Room, and grab a wiener dog at Coney Island.

4. See an unfrogettable concert at the Klipsch Music Center in Noblesville.

Before heading to Indy for the weekend, make sure you hit up Noblesville! With the end of summer approaching, be sure to head to Klipsch Music Center and catch one of your favorite bands performing! If you would rather shop around, there’s the Hamilton Town Center—with lots of stores such as American Eagle Outfitters, Charlotte Russe, and Express.

5. Check out the Cincinnati Art Museum, and many others nearby!

Do you like visiting museums? Cincinnati is the perfect place for that and Indiana fall road trips! It’s a little under 3 hours from Marion, but with lots of museums to visit. Check out the Cincinnati Art Museum, Sign Museum, and the Taft Museum of Art—this one includes a tearoom and garden!
