Chances are these successful women are healthy, happy, confident, financially stable and have a routine of healthy habits. It takes roughly 21 days for something to become a routine habit, but it’s never too late to learn a few important habits of successful women. Here is a list of common habits of successful women.

Bad Ass Habits of Successful Women

Seeks Challenges

One of the most important habits of successful women is that they are continually trying to push their personal boundaries; they seek challenges. The fear of failing is something that stops several people from taxing risks and going after what they want; confident women don’t stop. Truthfully, one thing I wish upon all of you is that you fail repeatedly throughout life; it’s our failures that provide valuable lessons. Successful women embrace failure and take life as a trial and error experiment. Step out of your comfort zone frequently!

Doesn’t Compare

The most prominent habits of successful women is that they support other women; not compare or discourage. In this circumstance, you are your own worst enemy. Comparing yourself to other people sparks envy, jealousy and cultivates an unhealthy mentality. Of course it’s easier said than done since social media bombards us with images left-and-right, but rather than compare yourself to them, remind yourself that those qualities are just an image they want to portray to the world. Having role models is one thing, but if you find yourself wishing you were them, take a step back and evaluate why that is. Self-love is crucial.

Holds Self-Accountability

Women who hold themselves accountable tend to be confident and successful women; they aren’t waiting for someone else or signs to execute their goals. These women take matters into their own hands and go after what they want. Successful women understand they are in control of their own lives and in order to get things done, they have to do it themselves. One of the habits of successful women is making a conscious effort to improve and make their own luck.

Knows Her Self-Worth

This is something I stress to every person I meet; self-worth. Knowing your self-worth is one of the most important, if not most important habit of successful women. Successful women aren’t wrapped up in caring about what others around them are saying because they know their limitations and what they are worth. While this is an on-going process, you’ll truly be unstoppable the minute you start focusing on yourself, not those around you. The need for comparing yourself to someone else will vanish. You’ll be an indestructible force the minute you discover what you’re capable of.

Budgets Weekly

Successful women budget weekly. Budgeting is the best tool if you seek financial success. It’s a lot easier than you’d anticipate. Sitting down by yourself or with someone who will hold you accountable is a great idea. You can sit down once a week and figure out what your spending habits are. Constantly looking at your account balances will help you spend mindfully. There are several budgeting methods you can implement. The most recent budgeting tool I’ve implemented in my life is an app called Digit. It kind of rules and helps you budget and save!

Prioritizes Self Care

Happy people are truly successful people – or from my definition any way. Their health is in check constantly; that means mental, physical and emotional health! Successful women invest time in doing what makes them happy and knows her limits. It should be a priority always! If you can’t take care of yourself, daily tasks can get challenging. Know your boundaries and learn to say “no” to things you don’t want to do. Saying no is one of the most important life lessons to learn. Don’t spread yourself thin and stress yourself out; you’ll burn out.
