Okay, it’s time to settle this debate once and for all. I know that there are some of us out there who don’t know about how excellent shower sex is, and I’m here to set the record straight. Shower sex is in fact, the best sex, and here is why.
Seriously, it’s self-explanatory! A shower is all about hot water and steam. And when you’re getting down and dirty, you might as well make it that much hotter by being in the shower! The combination of sex with hot water makes everything hotter, haven’t you ever been in a hot tub? But in the shower, nothing is standing in the way between you and your partner other than hot water. Now if you’re someone who enjoys cold showers, then I can understand how this wouldn’t be the move, but seriously you ought to give it a try.
I can understand why this may not be a decisive factor, everyone’s always afraid that shower sex will lead to one unfortunate slip and a trip to the hospital. But there is such a thing as finding traction, people! Don’t get too crazy, but enjoy the perks of getting it on somewhere other than a bed. Sure, it may get a bit slippery, but that just gives you more of a reason to hold on tightly to your partner, and take your time. Once you get your bearings, I promise shower sex will be a part of your new routine. However, if you’re really nervous, try taking a bath together first, just as intimate, but not as accident-prone.
This point is simple, there are ways to get down and dirty with your partner while also keeping it clean! And the best way to do this? Shower sex. Think about it, you usually have to clean up after sex anyway, so why not make it easier on yourself and just have sex while also getting clean? You can have fun with your partner and use shower sex as a new way to be intimate with one another, and what could be better than that? Seriously, use this activity as an opportunity to explore your sexual relationship and see what works for you!
No matter how great your sexual chemistry is with your partner, every relationship needs to keep things new and exciting to thrive. Otherwise, you’ll just be doing the same old thing over and over, and where’s the fun in that? Shower sex helps keep things lively between you and your partner because it allows you to embrace spontaneity. You don’t always have to plan it, but if your partner is in the shower, then hop in with them! This is especially great for couples who tend to be busy and don’t find enough time for intimacy anymore. Thus, shower sex enables you to keep things fun, exciting, and gives each of you the time to connect with one another during your busy lives!
Most of the hesitation around shower sex most likely stems from the unknown that surrounds it. If you and your partner have never been intimate anywhere other than the comfort of your bed, then being in the shower with them, where you are completely vulnerable and experiencing new territory will most likely be a bit scary at first! But that’s where the fun is! You and your partner can use shower sex as a way to explore your sexual relationship in ways you never have before, get comfortable with the vulnerability that comes with sharing such a confined space with someone and learn to love it!
