Us girls wear makeup because we want to wear makeup. Whether we want to wear a little or a lot is up to us. There is speculation that we only wear makeup for attention, which is not true. We wear makeup for ourselves and no one else, but that doesn’t mean we don’t like putting in the effort to do a look for someone special. You might have considered what type of makeup your guy likes, but you’re too shy to ask. So here are five makeup looks that your guy is sure to love.

Minimal Makeup

I think we have all heard it multiple times that guys like natural looking girls with no makeup. What they don’t realize is their idea of “no makeup” actually involves makeup. Guys enjoy the minimal makeup look because, to them, it means a girl has confidence in herself and doesn’t need a ton of foundation on her face to feel beautiful. To pull off this look use a light amount of foundation that matches your skin tone and use browns to fill in whatever details you’d like to add.

Smokey Eye

On the opposite end of the spectrum, some guys love it when we go, at times, for a bold look. Mostly, they love it when we wear a smokey eye. It gives off a very sexy and mysterious look they can’t resist. When sitting in front of the mirror before a night out, try going for a bit of a punk rocker look. Try to find a good balance between dark eye shadow and mascara – you don’t want too much! You’re looking for just the right amount of sexy and rebellious that gives off the perfect amount of the “FU” attitude.

A Bit Of Blush

Not all of us like loading on the makeup around the eyes. After all, it takes a lot of precision and detail to get it right. If you are looking for a quick look that your fella will be into, go for a bit of blush. The tiniest amount of pink color on a woman’s cheeks is really sexy to men. Best of all you can do a lot with very little. The more natural, the better. Guys find it adorable because we look like we just came in from outside on a cold day. Again, this is another look that guys like because they think it looks natural. Obviously we don’t have pink rosy cheeks all the time, but it is so adorable that they think we do.

 

Bold Lip Color

Now, if you have read any of my other makeup articles you know that I am crazy about a bold lip color. As luck would have it, so do guys. On a date night they like when their ladies are wearing a bold lip color. According to what they say, it gives them the signal that they are going to be getting into a lot of fun and a bit of trouble.

Colored Eye Shadow

I think and every single romance movie there is some sort of line where a guy says he just “knew” when he looked into her eyes, or some bs like that. Some guys are just all about the eyes. When they see a woman going all out with colors for her makeup look, they are drawn to it. Whether it is something that sparkles or something that gives them a little bit of a glow they think it is a great makeup look!

Don’t worry, we are not expecting you to be a makeup master! You can easily do these looks. You also don’t have to do them if you don’t like them, even though your man says he does. While wearing makeup for someone else is nice, it still is your face and you can do whatever you want with it! So always remember to do the makeup look that works best for you.
