To have a successful trip, you need to put together the right combination of songs into your road trip playlist. It should be a mixture of current hits, old classics, sing-alongs, tropical sounds, and songs with easy lyrics. 

1. Matt Maeson – Cringe

A song out of Matt Maeson’s most recent album ‘Cringe’ is a track you can scream your lungs out. Maeson’s name is starting to appear more and more in playlists, and your road trip playlist should mention him as well.

2. Lil Nas X – Old Town Road ft. Billy Ray Cyrus

Two people we would never have thought would collaborate and produce a song of this caliber. Somehow, they managed to create a certain fluidity of hip-hop with the country. Billy Ray Cyrus sure did slip inside the mainstream world with this banger.

3. Billie Eilish – bad guy

The base of ‘bad guy’ is so rhythmic you can’t help yourself, and you will dance to it. Billie produces hits after hits, but ‘bad guy’ on high volume in your car is the song on your road trip playlist you should play when you’re getting tired. It will wake up all of you. 

4. benny blanco & Calvin Harris – I Found You

Ever since ‘Eastside,’ the first creation out of benny blanco’s studio released under his name, we knew this man will be responsible for more than just one hit. ‘I Found You’ is the hopeful summer jam you will not stop smiling to when on a highway looking at beautiful scenery.

5. The 1975 – TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME

It was hard to choose a 1975 song, so feel free to include more in your road trip playlist. When listening to ‘TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME,’ it would be a sin not to sing along with your friends.

If you want to slow it down but listen to some road trip tracks that will make you daydream, put on the Australian Cub Sport. ‘Hawaiian Party’ is only one of their abundant selection of songs.

‘Come On Eileen’ will pump you up just be careful and keep your eyes on the speed limit. This song will remind you of ‘The Perks Of Being A Wallflower’ and the Homecoming dance.

The twinkling noise at the beginning of ‘Go Outside’ and the choir of kids singing brings so much joy and hope that it qualifies as a perfect song for a road trip playlist.

The Neighbourhood is probably the co-chair of the road trip music club. ‘Sweater Weather’ has such a nostalgic feel to it, we had to feature it in our road trip playlist.
