1. The Colosseum

Of course, we have to start with first and foremost the legendary Colosseum! Located in the heart of the Piazza del Colosseo, this world-famous attraction is definitely something you should not miss on your trip to Rome. Before you enter the inside of it, make sure to capture that perfect photo moment! It’s a massive building so pick out one of the best sides and voila, you have your Instagram goals picture!

2. The Roman Forum

Right by the Colosseum is located the Roman Forum, which was once the centre of the ancient city of Rome and a location of important social and political activities. It is a brilliant sight to experience and learn more about, and one that also has the typical Roman aesthetic to it, perfect for the gram-capture!

3. Piazza Venezia

The very central part of Rome, the Piazza Venezia (Venezia Square), is located at the foot of the Capitoline Hill and has a stunning view of the Altare della Patria, which is well worth to be photographed. After your walk by the main street full of street artists, singers and dancers, make sure to stop by and take a picture of yourself in the piazza.

4. The Pantheon

6. The Trevi Fountain

We cannot talk about Rome without mentioning the Trevi Fountain. The fountain was renovated as recently as 2015 with full sponsorship by Fendi and it attracts thousands and thousands of tourists every single day. If you are lucky enough to get a good angle of the fountain without catching any people in your shot, definitely do it!

7. St. Peter’s Basilica

When in Rome, it is a definite must to visit Vatican City.  The Basilica is a stunning church located in the heart of the Vatican and is entirely free to visit. The massive front square is a very beautiful sight with its many beautiful statues looking down on you from above. Piazza Navona is a square built in 1st century AD! The ancient Romans went there to watch the agones, and hence it was known as “Circus Agonalis”. Its beautiful fountain, restaurants, and statues, create a very aesthetically pleasing atmosphere that is perfect for every insta-gal that is after the perfect photo!
