The Ultimate Gift Guide For Nursing Graduates

Graduating from nursing school is a MAJOR accomplishment. If any of your loved ones have recent nursing graduates and you are on the hunt for the perfect gift to get them, this is the guide for you!

Here are what I believe to be the ultimate gift ideas for nursing grads!

Comfortable (but still cute) Shoes

There is no doubt that nurses are on their feet ALL DAY, so gifting them with a cute, comfy pair of shoes is a great idea! Depending on their own personal style, I would stick with something simple in color so that they can match with all of their different scrubs.

Nike and Adidas are my two recommendations in terms of what brand to stick with, but that does not mean you have to follow that suggestion! However, here’s a link to a pair of free runs I would gift!

Coffee Maker

Along with being on their feet all day, nurses work long hours with late nights and early mornings. This being said, coffee is a MUST! I’m sure they faced a coffee addiction while going through nursing school, but there is no question that as nursing graduates, it is only going to grow as they enter their career in nursing.

A quality coffee maker makes such a different when you’re running out the door for an early morning shift, so I suggest something nice and easy, such as a Keurig! You can buy one right on Amazon!

A Quality Tumbler

This gift idea goes hand and hand with the coffee maker! What’s the joy in making a great cup of coffee in the morning if you don’t have a nice tumbler to bring it with you in! I HIGHLY recommend, Simple Modern for the perfectly insulated cup that will keep their coffee hot throughout their busy day!

Simple Modern has its own website where you can shop for a number of different styles and sizes! Nursing graduates would be OVERJOYED to receive this!

Novelty Nursing Sweater

This ultimate gift guide would not be complete without at least one novelty “nurse themed” piece of clothing. As a recent graduate from their nursing program, they deserve to proudly represent their success, and a fun nursing sweater is the perfect way to do it!

Amazon is the perfect place to go for finding novelty sweaters (along with being the perfect website for absolutely everything), so I would definitely recommend doing a quick search to find the perfect sweater for your graduate! Here’s one of my personal favorites!

Personalized Nurse Bag

A nurse bag is something that is going to definitely be a necessity after graduating from nursing school! Here is your opportunity for the perfect, personalized gift. One of my favorite places to go for personalized gifts is Etsy, so this is the website I would visit for this particular present idea!

Just search “personalized nurse bag” and the different options that pop up are endless! Here’s a link to one of my favorite bags on the Etsy website, but like I said, there are SO MANY to choose from! Get creative, and I know they will be over the moon with excitement for such a thoughtful gift!

Monthly Gift Subscription

Today, there are different monthly gift subscription boxes for nearly ANYONE! Luckily, there are options for new nurses! On there is an option for the “Nurse Aid Kit” that you can easily purchase for any recent nursing graduates to be delivered as they enter their new career!

For only about $27 a month, you can give a recurring gift that will keep them motivated as they warm up to a brand new life path in nursing! Here’s a link to the website where you can sign up easily today!

This ultimate gift guide is far from limited to all of the potential gift ideas to give to nursing graduates, but it is definitely a great place to start in terms of brainstorming!

I hope this was helpful in your search for a gift! Let us know what you think of these ideas down below in the comments section! Now, get gifting!!
