10 Birth Date Specific Gifts That Are Truly Unique

This Is Your Birthday Song, It Isn’t Very Long

“No—can’t be. I distinctly remember, your birthday was last year.”

Another year older, another year wiser, so let’s celebrate! Though quarantine has put a little damper on celebrations, there are still many things achievable through the internet. Whether you are looking to #TreatYoSelf this year or looking for a gift for someone you love, here is a gift guide to 10 truly unique birth date-specific gifts!

1. Birth Date candle –

“We combined astrology, numerology, and tarot to create 365 beautiful candles — one for every birthdate. Your Birthdate Candle will unlock the secrets of your personality, and has a fragrance carefully designed to enliven your spirit.”

There is a reason this is number one on the gift guide. My best friend surprised me with this truly personalized gift last year and I absolutely love it! Not only does it have everything on the front (as you can see in the picture above) – sign, can, number, planet, strengths, weaknesses, and a description of the scents – on the back it has a full tarot card reading, information about the ruling planet and ruling number, and a detailed paragraph about people born on that day! The candles are 13.5 oz, made with natural soy and coconut wax, made in the USA, and have a burn time of sixty to eighty hours.

2. Birth Date book –

“A beautiful, made-to-order book that illustrates your unique astrological birth chart — the map of the stars and planets at the exact moment you were born. With over 70 pages of detailed horoscope analysis, you’ll uncover secrets and insights about your life and personality. Written with psychic intuition and charm, each page offers a deep reading into who you are and what your future holds.”

This is something I would love to add to my birthday collection, it is definitely going on my list this year! Though you will need to know a decent amount of information, such as the time and place of the birth, not just the date, it is totally worth finding out. There is also a dedication page you can create to make it an extra special gift from you! This is one of the most creative items on this gift guide.

3. Moon Phase necklace –

https://www.moonglow.com/

“Moonglow offers custom, hand-finished jewelry featuring The Moon from the date of your choice. Moonglow is handcrafted in Canada and our iconic moon image is an original design by Canadian artist Luc, carefully set in each unique piece. We cherish each Moonglow piece as much as you cherish your special moment. Our unique birthstone jewelry is crafted with authentic Swarovski and Zircon Crystals, available in the twelve colors symbolic of your birth month. The beaded bracelet collections are also crafted with genuine gemstones, offering unique crystal properties in every stone.”

I couldn’t pass up a chance to add this to this gift guide. I have had my Moonglow necklace for 9 years and it is still one of my favorite things I have ever gotten at a convention. The quality is amazing and there are so many ways to customize your order – from different jewelry options to engraving. I cannot wait to get another necklace for my wedding date and the birth date of my children. It really is a grand thing with a grand meaning.

4. Personalized Star Chart –

“Was it your first kiss, the birth of a child, or that moment you realized your world had changed? Give a gift of the stars to always remember that special night. Create a custom map of the night your heart skipped a beat. Printed on museum grade art matte paper and printed using archival inks. This is designed to last generations. A Night Sky is forever.”

Now, this is something that is a great way to tell someone “you are special to me”. Whether it is a star chart from their birth date or the day you met them, this is a beautiful, sophisticated, and artistic option from this gift guide.

5. Zodiac candle –

“Each scent and stone in our Zodiac collection has been inspired by the zodiacs corresponding earth element. Each of our candles are hand-poured with all-natural, American grown soy wax, wood wicks, and premium fragrance oils. Our products are made and set to cure for multiple days before being sold, and individually labeled by hand. Since soy wax is a natural material, each candle may have its own look and/or texture. Our 9oz candles are perfect for an average-sized room and have a burn time of 60+ hours. They come in a straight-sided black glass jar, with a luxurious, eco-friendly matte black label.”

A lot of people enjoy using their zodiac as a part of their self-expression and here is a unique way to do that! Instead of jewelry, which is the most common zodiac gift, this candle is a wonderful change of pace. And! Once the candle is finished, they can always re-use the jar for something else. This is one of the support-small-business options on this gift guide.

6. Personalize Zodiac compact mirror –

“Personalized Zodiac birthday gift pocket beauty mirror with your choice of star sign constellation on the back. The zodiac attributes around the mirror’s edge. A perfect Valentine gift for your wife or girlfriend. Tell us what sign of the zodiac you’d like and we’ll engrave the constellation onto the back and the positive attributes of that sign around the frame on the front (or indeed your own choice of a message). We will then stain the mirror in your choice of color and add a super-starry fine glitter finish.”

This was a surprising find, I just had to add it to the gift guide. For someone who might have different zodiac or celestial-themed makeup products, this is the perfect companion! It is a nicely sized compact mirror that will easily fit in a purse or even a pair of jeans. It can be personalized to have a message instead of the zodiac attributes, too!

7. Astrological cookbook –

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07P5HFSX8/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0

“Gone are the days of leafing through cookbooks or recipe collections. Now you can find the perfect recipes for every meal and occasion by letting the stars guide you. Whether you are trying to impress your Virgo mother-in-law or simply trying to add some variety to your lunch options this week, let the stars help you find the perfect dish. Get inspired by these food recommendations catered to every astrological sign’s key qualities and personality traits to ensure that you cook the perfect meal for everyone. This cookbook offers simple guidelines for adding astrology-based dishes to your menu. Whether you’re whipping up an indulgent pasta for your Taurus friend or adding a little spiciness to your signature dish to make your bold Aries attitude stand out, Your Astrological Cookbook has your ideal meal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.”

This is a really unique but interesting part of the gift guide. I would be really curious to see if I like the meals for my zodiac, and to try things with friends and family to see how they feel! It is an excellent catch-all option, as well, in case your loved one prefers their moon sign.

8. Birthstone necklace –

“Refresh your look with the bright green color of this Pear-Cut Peridot Pendant Sterling Silver from Tiara. Set on an 18-inch cable chain, this simple peridot pendant necklace falls just past the collarbone for easy styling with an array of different necklines. The beautiful teardrop-shaped pear-cut stone is set in a delicate, detailed crown-prong setting rendered in solid sterling silver, letting the natural beauty of the stone shine through. Closing with a spring-ring clasp for secure, confident wear, you’ll love pairing this sterling silver peridot necklace with everything from jeans and a tee to something a little more formal.”

I don’t think anyone can go wrong with birthstone jewelry, so it only made sense to add this to the gift guide. Many big retailers and tons of Etsy stores offer birthstone jewelry, so it is very possible to find a really unique setting or stone combination. As you can see from the Moonglow suggestion, for example, they have a few different birthstone settings for their phase of the moon.

9. Birthstone candle –

https://www.target.com/p/7oz-birthstone-ceramic-jar-amethyst-candle-project-62/-/A-81316332?preselect=79474698#lnk=sametab

“Excellent for aromatherapy, the 7oz Birthstone Ceramic Jar Amethyst Candle – Project 62™ is available in different scents according to your birthstone. Molded into an ivory ceramic jar, this candle burns for 40 hrs, acting as the perfect stress buster. With each individual birthstone scent available, this 7-oz. candle is great for meditation, keeping you fully immersed in tranquility.”

When I found this at Target it was a total insta-buy. I don’t know that I have ever seen birthstone products that aren’t jewelry with the stone. Each one has a different, minimal, geometric design and they are all gorgeous. And as I mentioned with the zodiac candle, this jar is perfect to be re-purposed.

10. Birthstone wishing balls –

https://www.uncommongoods.com/product/birthstone-wishing-balls

“Your birthday is like a private New Year’s celebration—a chance to reflect and look forward to the milestones you plan on reaching in the year to come. With this sentiment in mind, Jill Henrietta Davis created her birthstone wishing ball to capture a single wish, accomplishment, or meditation every week for the coming year. Each shimmering ball of hand-blown glass comes with 52 tiny slips of paper for you to pause once a week throughout the year and record a message of hope or gratitude. Coil them up and tuck them in the tiny hole near the base and they become a permanent part of the display. Available in twelve vibrant hues that correspond to each month’s birthstone. Handmade in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.”

Isn’t this fun? I don’t know that I have ever heard of anything like this. Regardless, blown glass is a beautiful work of art and could easily put on display on bookcases or desks! Just as you may have an “adventure jar” to collect savings, now have a wish ball to hold your hopes and dreams.

… And Many More

“That’s the funny thing about birthdays, they’re kind of an annual thing.”
Birthdays are the day your favorite person came into the world, so it should absolutely be celebrated. Though, you wouldn’t give an Anne Perkins birthday to Ron Swanson, so, hopefully, these 10 truly unique gifts help you keep it personal. Comment below any other one-of-a-kind suggestions!
