Snacks are a eaten between meals and without them, we would all be very hangry. Do you ever just get tired of eating the same snacks? I know that I do. I think that it’s time to trade in that bag of chips for some homemade food. These seven snack recipes will introduce you to a whole new world of snacking. Have you heard of garlic bagel chips? I haven’t, but now that I know about them, I am certainly going to make these. In order to make garlic bagel chips, you will need butter, garlic cloves, plain bagels, and Parmesan cheese. This snack looks so tasty and is beyond easy to make.

2. Cheesy Chex Mix

Do you like your chex mix cheesy? If so, then you are going to want to try out this recipe. In order to make this cheesy chex mix, you will need chex cereal, mini pretzels, cheese crackers, Parmesan cheese, butter, and garlic powder. This recipe sounds so delicious. 

3. Caramel Popcorn

This popcorn snack is a sure way to cure your sweet tooth. In order to make this recipe, you will need popcorn, salt, butter, honey, and pecans. This recipe is very simple, so everyone is capable of making this recipe. You can make this snack ahead of time and take it with you on the go.

Granola bars aren’t too bad for you, so if your looking to make a healthier snack, then here is your chance. In order to make this recipe, you will need butter, oats, honey, brown sugar, salt, chopped nuts, dried fruit, and some wheat germ. This snack is well worth the effort that it takes to make it.

6. Banana Chips

This has got to be one of the easiest snack recipes that I have ever encountered. I love banana chips, so I’m definitely going to have to try making this snack. For this recipe, all you need is a banana… literally that’s all you need. When making these, just make sure that you give yourself plenty of time, because these banana chips do take roughly 2 hours to cook and then you have to let them harden.

-1 teaspoon of baking soda

-2 sticks butter, softened

-2 cups of granulated sugar

-2 eggs

-2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

-1 2/3 cups of Reese’s Peanut Butter Chips

First, heat oven to 350°F. Next, in a small bowl, combine flour, cocoa, and baking soda; stir. In a larger bowl, combine the butter and sugar; stir until fluffy. Then, add the eggs and vanilla extract; stir until contents are mixed well. In the large bowl, slowly combine the flour mixture; stir until mixed. After the cookie dough contents are mixed well, you will then stir in the peanut butter chips. Place a teaspoon-full of the cookie dough onto a non-greased cookie sheet; bake for 8 minutes. In the oven, the cookie dough will rise, but once they cool outside of the oven, they will flatten to normal.
