From the best fair in the world to the beautiful beaches and lakes, Minnesota has a lot to love. These are signs that you're a Minnesota girl!

1. You can handle anything the weather throws at you.

Tornadoes, flash floods, snowstorms, and 90 degree days. You have mastered the art of dressing in layers because it might rain in the morning, be sunny in the afternoon, and be snowing by night time. You have to be prepared for it all.

2. You know that the State Fair is a BIG deal.

It’s not called the Great Minnesota Get Together for nothing. Everyone goes and you and your friends have been planning what you’re going to eat there for weeks.  You know you have to stop at the Sweet Martha’s Cookies Booth.

8. You don’t need a coat when it’s above 32 degrees.

10. You have great neighbors because everyone is Minnesota Nice!

You have know everyone’s names, babysit their kids, and shovel each other’s driveways. It’s hard not to bond when you’re constantly battling the elements together.

11. You know the truth about the Mall of America.

It’s overwhelmingly huge, noisy, and the only people who actually go there are tourists and bored teenagers. Every store you’d actually go to in there can be found in another, closer mall.
