10 Restaurants Open On Thanksgiving If You Don’t Want The Hassle Of Cooking

Thanksgiving is the day to stuff your face with good food and heart with gratitude. If cooking this year isn’t an option, you can wobble into these restaurants open on thanksgiving down below! 

Ruth’s Chris Steak House

If part of your Thanksgiving tradition involves a proper spread of traditional foods, with an elegant table sitting well-dressed men, women, and children, then Ruth’s Chris Steak House is the place to go. The holiday special is a fixed three-course menu with options like soup or salad as an appetizer, sliced oven-roasted turkey breast and herb stuffing with your choice of traditional side dish (Mashed Potatoes, Sweet Potato Casserole, Green Beans and Creamed Spinach), and for dessert a Pumpkin Cheesecake and Vanilla Ice Cream.

The price: Aprox. $41.95 per adult and $14.95 Reservations are highly recommended. 

Fogo de Chao

This Brazilian steakhouse or churrascaria is known for its high-quality unlimited servings of open-fire roasted meat cuts that are carved and served to you at table side by Brazilian-trained gaucho chefs. Alongside with the seasonal Market Table and Feijoada Bar. And now for thanksgiving, they add roasted turkey breast to the mix, and thanksgiving staple, the Sweet Potato Casserole. Once you’re full, flip the coaster to red and the chefs won’t interrupt your table. 

Following the line of Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse the ambience calls for semi formal to formal attire. 

The price: from $30 to $50 depending on the hour and day. Reservations are highly recommended.

Denny’s

As if Denny’s wasn’t already America’s diner, now it’s thanks giving’s diner, as well. With its Sweet Holiday Delights and Festive Holiday Feasts Menu, you will be thank-full. Their special menu includes Cinnamon Roll Pancake Breakfast and Apple Bourbon Crepe Breakfast, Bourbon Chicken & Garlic Peppercorn Sirloin Dinner, and Turkey & Dressing Dinner, and Double Chocolate Pancake Puppies, Pecan Pie or Pumpkin Pie. So whether you go classic or creative, the choice is up to you.

A great place for a casual and warm thanksgiving with the whole family. But, if you wish to buy food outside and host at home, Denny’s has a Turkey and Dressing Dinner Pack carryout option sufficient enough for six people. If interested in the pack, call at least the day before. 

The price: from $8 to $18 per person. No reservation needed, but, if you have a large party, it’s recommended.  

IHOP

The international house of pancake is also home to all holiday favorites such as Eggnog, Pumpkin, and Raspberry White Chocolate Chip pancakes. As well as, Classic Roasted Turkey and Classic Ham Dinner. IHOP also has Under 600 calorie options for anyone in your party who’s on a diet. Less stress, good food, and a satisfied company. A very homie place to go for that at home easiness and quality family time.

The price: from $8 to $18 per person. No reservation needed, but, if you have a large party, it’s recommended.

 

Sizzler

Dedicated to serving a traditional meal, Sizzler offers a Thanksgiving feast platter with all the favorites. Including roasted turkey with stuffing, green beans, mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potatoes with maple topping, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. Available with a selection of wine.

Price: Aprox. $12.99 per person. Before going, check if your local Sizzler will be participating. 

Golden Coral

Acclaimed as one of the best buffets in the USA, Golden Coral gives it all in their Thanksgiving buffet. With more than twenty-seven options to choose from like turkey, fried chicken, pot roast, meatloaf, ham, steak, potatoes, corn, macaroni and cheese, pizza, pasta, and many more.

They also offer a complete takeout meal to go. The options are a Roasted Turkey Holiday Dinner or Smoked Turkey Holiday Dinner. Both include your choice of prepared turkey along with cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, and yeast rolls with a vegetable and pie choice (apple or pumpkin) for $79.99. Hearty enough for six to eight people. The meal order should be placed within a seven-day notice.

Added to the specialness of the occasion, you can order their Holiday Expresso Martini and freshly brewed espresso to compliment your meal, and if left wanting more order a slice, or more, of Hard Rock’s Pumpkin Pie, served with caramel sauce, toasted walnuts, and house-made whipped cream.

Rainforest Café

Thanksgiving at Rainforest Café is not a thing you expect to hear, but it is! It offers a fun and diverse ambiance with all the classic holiday taste you crave. How does roasted turkey breast, cornbread stuffing, red-skinned mashed potatoes, turkey gravy, sautéed green beans with red onion and mushrooms, cranberries, cinnamon honey roasted sweet potatoes, and pumpkin pie sound? I bet it’s even better with monkey calls, waterfalls, and greenery.

Price: $11 to $30 dollars per person.

Buca Di Deppo

Offering pick-up and delivery options, Boca Di Deppo brings the Italian taste to your thanksgiving feast. The Traditional Thanksgiving Feast includes Sliced White Meat Turkey, Homestyle Gravy, Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Spicy Italian Sausage Stuffing, Green Beans, Cranberry Sauce, Pumpkin Pie, and Fresh Baked House Bread.
