Reality TV Shows You Have To Be Watching This Fall

The season of Fall doesn’t only mean the change of weather, it also means that some of your favorite Reality TV Shows are back. So, grab your popcorn and be ready for some entertainment, drama, and competition. These are the four Reality TV Shows you have to be watching this fall:

1. Survivor: Island of Idols

The CBS Reality Competition Show returns to TV Screens on September 25th. Survivor is one of the most popular Reality TV Shows ever. Season 39 of the hit show is called Survivor: Island of the Idols, with the twist being that former winners Sandra Diaz-Twine (the winner of Seasons 7 and 20 and also the show’s only two-time victor) and “Boston Rob” Mariano (the winner of Season 22) will return as mentors for this season’s contestants. However, the two former winners will not be competing for the one-million-dollar prize themselves.

2. Dancing with The Stars:

One of the most popular Reality TV Shows, the ABC Reality Competition show will return for its 28th season on September 16th. Partnered with professional dancers, celebrities will compete on Dancing with The Stars for a chance to win the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy. The cast of Season 28 will be announced sometime later in the summer. 

Traditionally, Dancing with The Stars airs twice a year (a spring season and a fall season), but after Season 27 (the fall 2018 season)’s controversial finale, the show did not return for its normal spring season in March 2019. Longtime host Tom Bergeron confirmed in an interview that there will be some new format changes in Season 28. The details of these new changes have yet to be revealed. So, you have to watch Dancing with the Stars this fall. Will these changes help the show remain among one of the most popular Reality TV Shows? 

3. The Real Housewives of Dallas:

The Dallas edition of Bravo’s The Real Housewives franchise will return for its’ fourth season on September 4th. The housewives returning for Season 4 are Stephanie Hollman, LeeAnne Locken, Brandi Redmond, Kameron Westcott, and D’Andra Simmons (all have been on the show since its inaugural season). Kary Brittingham will make her series debut as a housewife this season while Cary Deuber (who has been part of the main cast since Season 1) will appear on the show as a friend (recurring status) of the housewives. The Real Housewives Franchise is ranks highly amongst the most popular Reality TV Shows because of the amount of drama and fights that happen. The Real Housewives of Dallas will provide just that.

4. The Voice:

One of the most popular Reality TV Shows, The Voice returns to NBC for its seventeenth season on September 23rd. Season 17 of the Singing Competition TV Show will be the first season without coach Adam Levine (who has been a coach since the show’s inagural season). From his 16 seasons as a coach, Levine has been the winning coach three times (Seasons 1, 5, and 9). Former coach Gwen Stefani will be Levine’s replacement. With Levine’s departure, this makes fellow coach Blake Shelton as the only coach to appear on every season of The Voice since its inaugural season. Along with Shelton and Stefani, singers John Legend and Kelly Clarkson return for their second and fourth seasons as coaches respectively. Carson Daly, who has been the host of The Voice since Season 1, will reprise his duties for the seventeenth time.
