The world is filled with all kinds of beautiful bucket list destinations; however, here are 10 places that you need to visit at least once in your life. Whether it be for the sheer beauty, the unique architecture or any other variety of reasons, these are some of the coolest places this beautiful world has to offer.
1. Greece
Greece offers some of the most breathtaking views of anywhere on Earth. No matter where you choose to explore in this country, you are sure to encounter some wondrous views that really do seem surreal. Not to mention the country is packed full of historic landmarks such as the Acropolis, the Parthenon and so much more. There is an endless amount of breathtaking views and enriching historic sites that will ensure your trip is like no other.
2. Italy
Yet another country that offers a seemingly endless amount of history and scenic views. The food in Italy is probably enough of a reason for anyone to go because who doesn’t love a bowl of homemade pasta and a slice of pizza paired with a glass of vino? From the Duomo in Florence to the Colosseum in Rome to the beautiful hiking trails in Cinque Terre, this country has one of the richest cultures of all. The atmosphere of Italy is truly magical and this is why it should be on everyone’s list of places you need to visit.

Visiting Hawaii was easily one of the best experiences of my life thus far. The scenery here is absolutely breathtaking and there is an endless number of activities to do. Visiting volcanoes, hiking the most beautiful trails and trying your hand at surfing are some absolute must-dos while you’re here. Hawaii has some of the most stunning beaches in the world and I think that everyone should see all of the astounding views this place has to offer at least once.
4. Thailand
Thailand has been growing in popularity amongst tourists recently, and deservedly so. It has an intensely unique culture that provides an eye-opening experience for most visitors. It also has some stunning scenery, and you should for sure check out the Phi Phi Islands or Pa Tong for some fantastic beaches and a great nightlife scene.
5. Croatia
Croatia is home to an infinite number of beautiful places to visit. From the Blue Cave of Bisevo to the Plitvice National Lakes (to name just a couple), the opportunities to explore the seemingly untouched nature of this country are endless. Croatia also offers a plethora of unique architecture that everyone should go and visit because of the uniqueness and beauty of this country.
6. Las Vegas
As strange as it may seem alongside some of the other wondrous places on this list, Vegas is definitely one of the top places you need to visit at least once. After all, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. If you’re looking for a whirlwind of a trip filled with an amazing party scene, Vegas is the place for you. It has an atmosphere unlike any other and will definitely leave you with some unique stories and crazy memories to last a lifetime.
7. Czech Republic
Honestly, the Czech Republic feels like another world with the ancient castles and cascading hills. It boasts some beautiful hiking trails and national parks for those who love nature along with some awe-inspiring sights including the St. Vitus Cathedral, Prague Castle and the Charles Bridge. There is something for everyone here and no matter what you do, you’ll be sure to have your breath taken away by the beautiful views this country has to offer.

France is one of the most romantic countries the world has to offer. The unique culture, historic architecture and endless amount of activities make it the perfect place for anyone to visit. You can hit the more typical tourist spots like the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre or the Palace of Versailles, or you can do something more relaxing like a wine tasting or food tour. Whatever you choose to do I’m sure France will steal your heart with its rich history and alluring culture.

Depending on where you visit in South Africa, your experience could vary immensely as everywhere has something unique to offer you. Cape Town holds some breathtaking views as well as a variety of beaches and trails to explore to your heart’s content. You could also pay a visit to some national parks or the Winelands. Everything South Africa has to offer is incredible and makes it one of the top choices for places you need to visit.
10. Alaska
Alaska boasts some of the most impressive views in North America. It is essentially any nature lover’s paradise with its endless amounts of hiking trails and beautiful parks to visit. It is definitely on my bucket list because everyone I know who has visited has raved about the insanely beautiful views and how amazing the experience was, so I’ll definitely be paying it is a visit in the near future.
