Colour can scare people, stepping out of your neural comfort zone is not always as easy said than done. Slowly but surely introducing colour into your wardrobe will happen. You just have to know how to rock colours confidently! You can do it! just breath, embrace it, and importantly know your skin tone.
If you have a green undertone to your skin look for colours that are deep and rich. Natural colours such as maroon, purples and pinks look amazing on you at any time. As well as reds and navy blues. With the gorgeous green undertone that your skin has pretty much any colour looks good on you. Any colour that occurs in nature, such as khaki, will instantly complement your skin! and ensure that your features stand out. Particularly the deep tones. If you love the outfit and you love the way you look in it, that’s really all that matters. You can rock whatever colour you choose! If you want to gain a little extra attention colour is the way to do it! So go crazy! and don’t be shy.
If you are blessed with a yellow undertone you can wear any colour under the sun! Your skin tone is incredibly neutral so the whole colour wheel is your friend. If you want to wear colour to the best of your ability, try more muted tones. Pastels or any pale colour will suit you perfectly. If pastels aren’t your thing, try dusty colours, such as muted rose tones or dusty grey/blue. These colours are as close to neutral as you can get so don’t fear! This is an excellent way take your steps into a more colourful closet. Dusty colours can work year round and can go with just about anything! You can wear any of these colours and I can ensure you will look great doing it!
If you have a beautiful pink flush to your skin remember to compliment it! Any warmer tones that are still muted will look lovely. Think pinks, peaches, rose tones, will all look beautiful on you! If those are not quite your jam, you can go the opposite end of things and go for greys, blues and navy’s. This will ensure that your beautiful skin and face are the real stars of the show! You beautiful fair skin needs to be accentuated, and these muted tones are the way to do it. Think of any colours that you would find in your grandmas house, in the best way possible. Whether you are a pink girl or not, you can where whatever colour that makes you smile! As long as you feel great, thats all that matters.
