How To Decorate Your Room On A Budget

Are you tired of your boring old room? Try switching it up and get ready to love your new space. Here are a few ways to decorate your room on a budget. These tips will give it that added flair and will make your friends jealous too!

1. Move Stuff Around

This is a great first step when you feel like your room needs a change. You’ll feel like you have a brand new room when you’re done swapping your bed with where your dresser used to be. Be sure you measure the areas before you start lifting and get help from a friend or parents if something is too heavy to move!

2. Change Your Comforter

This is a quick and easy change if you want to start small. It adds a change of color to your room and creates a whole new vibe. A different comforter can create more light in your room and make it brighter. Find your favorite comforter and give it a try!

3. Spice Up Your Walls

If your room feels a bit plain there are plenty of ways to spice it up starting with your wall. This is a great way to decorate your room and can make a major difference. Create a photo collage or even hang a painting on the wall. It adds some color to your room and will help it look more lively!

4. Add Pillows

Maybe you have a painting on the wall and a new comforter but still, want more. The solution is to add pillows! Put some on top of your bed, windowsill or couch. Your room will look classy and it will make a major difference!

5. Paint?

Sometimes that splash of color you want in your room can be achieved if your walls are a different color. Find out first if you can paint your room especially if you live in an apartment. Then go to your local home depot and pick out some paint. Start painting and enjoy the results!

6. Add a Rug

This is great especially if you have lots of hardwood floors. Obviously, if you already have carpeting this won’t work for you. You can get an area rug for less than $50 on Amazon and it will make a tremendous difference. Trust me, I’ve bought many!

7. Tv LED lights

Adding lights to your room is the perfect cool addition. It gives your room a cozy, warm vibe you’ll appreciate. So start stringing them up, you will be happy you did!

8. Remodel

This is really only an option if you have some money to put down for it. Remodeling tends to work best for homeowners and is worth it in the end!

I hope you got some good advice on ways to decorate your room on a budget. Let me know in the comments what idea you are planning on trying!
