Nested in the center of Grand River, from the Rodeo Burger to the Garden Burger, there is something for everyone’s dietary needs. Out of all of the Mediterranean places in the area, Sultan’s is the most authentic. From the numerous vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, the chicken shawarma combo is the one to try if it is your first time. The portion sizes are enormous and I usually end up taking enough home for later. Also, Sultan partners with the Hooked app (download it on your phone if you don’t have it, I’ve been able to save quite a bit!) and usually have a $5 chicken shawarma combo box to go deal. Don’t forget to grab a health juice or Baklava on your way out!

3. Hopcat

With weekly specials like $5 off burgers during Happy Hour and half off Crack Fries Mondays, HopCat has student budgets in mind. Crack fries?! What are Crack fries, you ask?!
