From Strangers to Married; Where The Love Is Blind Couples Are Today

Love is Blind swept across the screens at the end of 2019, beginning of 2020. The show was captivating, exciting, and at times, a car crash you couldn’t look away from. The show gave us a scenario-based on blind dating that we have never seen before. The participants were placed in soundproof pods, sequestered by everyone. They ould spend hours a day getting to know the other participants, building a foundation for a romantic relationship. At the end of the pods, participants either became engaged or decided to part ways, leaving the show (yes all inside the pods without ever seeing the other). Many left without becoming engaged however, the cast that remained on the show and made it to the weddings became some of our new favorite reality participants. They were able to captivate us on the thought of love and marriage and sucked us in with really great tv and even better storylines. 

Lauren and Cameron Hamilton

Cameron and Lauren Hamilton are the breakout stars from the show, Love is Blind. Despite hesitation before the wedding on Lauren’s part, Cameron and Lauren tied the knot at the Love is Blind finale wedding after falling for each other in the pods. This couple seems to be the most content and steady couple from the show. They have continued to work on shows together including their new show, Hanging With The Hamiltons. Lauren and Cameron have both given interviews proclaiming their love for one another where they have been open and honest about the Love is Blind process, Marriage, and falling in love with each other. 

Lauren and Cameron have started their new show, Hanging with the Hamiltons as a look into their lives together, after the show. The youtube show shows up the ups and downs that Lauren and Cameron Face, their day to day adventures, and everything in between in their hometown of Atlanta. They discuss everything from the show, marriage ups, and downs, starting a family, and everything in between. 

Barnett and Amber

Barnett and Amber became one of the most talked-about couples in the pods on Love is Blind. Barnett’s time on the show was split between two women, Amber and Jessica which caused a rift between the cast members, understandably. Barnet and Amber exchanged vows on the season’s final wedding and nearly two years later remain married. 

The couple continues to participate in shows together and showcase their life through their social media channels, allowing us to get a glimpse at their happiness. Per Instagram, the couple remains very happy and content within their marriage, showcasing them cooking meals together, their life as self-proclaimed nerds, and their adorable pup.  

Mark Cuevas

In the first season of Love is Blind, Mark Cuevas and Jessica Batten were engaged to be married on the season’s finale however, throughout the season their relationship had been very rocky. For one thing, Jessica was attracted to Barnette. They had many other ‘issues’ including the fact that Jessica was not attracted to Mark Physically, she was 10 years older, and so on. 

Since the show ended, Mark has not heard from Jessica. He is, however, engaged to his fiance Aubrey Rainey. If that already wasn’t enough to make a year great, Mark and Aubrey announced that the two are expecting their first child together. Since the show aired Mark has become engaged and is about to become a father, so I would say things are going alright for Mark. 

Jessica Batten

Like Mark, Jessica moved on after the show aired. After Love is Blind aired, Jessica moved to California for Georgia where she began dating Dr. Benjamin McGarth. The duo has been together for most of 2020 and they are very happy. Jessica had a rough go at finding love on Love is Blind but it seems that she has since found happiness elsewhere. Jessica is currently living and working in California, continuing to grow her business and support her career goals. 

Damian and Giannina

Damian and Giannina fell head over heels for each other in the pods of Love are Blind. They even made it to the alter however, Damien shocked viewers when he blindsided Giannina. He did not feel right marrying her at that moment in time, he felt that their relationship needed more time. Giannina was devastated however things took a turn for the better and the couple reconciled. 

Giannina and Damien are currently still together working on building a solid foundation while continuing to fall in love with each other. They have not yet ruled out future wedding plans and state that if it is to happen, they want it to be the wedding of their dreams.

Kenny Barnes

Kenny and Kelly were also a couple that got engaged in the pods and was set to wed at the wedding finale. Before exchanging vows, Kelly surprised everyone, including her family, by announcing that she did not feel a physical attraction for Kenny. We saw on the show that the two never became intimate. Kelly left Kenny at the altar and the two have since moved on.

Since the show aired, Kenny has moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. He began dating and in August 2020 he announced that he is engaged to his fiance, Alexandra Garrison. The two are planning their wedding within the near future as long as Covid allows. 

Kelly Chase

Kelly Chase was set to marry Kenny Barnes on the Love is Blind finale. Throughout the show the two had a good relationship, it was clear that they cared for one another and would make the best of friends However, the romantic spark was never lit within the two. After the show, the two parted ways. Kelly has since given interviews where she has said that Kenny actually ghosted her when she tried to reach out to him after the show aired. 

Kelly remains in Atlanta where she works as a health and empowerment coach. She is not currently dating and has been open and honest about being single, setting boundaries when dating, and not dating because you are lonely. Kelly continues to work empowering women to make healthy, long-lasting life changes and health-conscious attitudes. 

The Love is Blind couples gave us binge-worthy tv. We are glad that they all seem to be doing well and thriving! We continue to wish them all the best.
