Some of our favorite characters can double as our guide to buying new clothes or styling pieces you already have in your closet.

1. Rachel Green

Rachel Green starts out her classic role on Friends as a spoiled rich girl who hasn’t worked for any of the things she has but soon works her way up to working for Ralph Lauren. So, naturally, as someone working in the fashion industry, she has an amazing style. Her 90’s looks are some of the most popular styles to recreate! From her casual, everyday looks to business attire to a night out with her friends, Rachel Green rocks every look she wears!

2. Alexis Rose

Alexis Rose was bound to be a fashion icon since the premiere of Schitt’s Creek. After her family lost all their money and every possession in their home, Alexis grabbed all she could and moved to live in a motel with her brother and parents. She made sure to fill her bags to the brink with all her best clothes, shoes, purses, and accessories. While living in a smaller, less-fortunate town, she stands out with her unique and bold fashion choices in every episode. Known as a sometimes ditsy character who is oblivious to her surroundings, she makes sure that no matter what people think of her, they know she has a good style!

3. Blair Waldorf

When thinking of fashion icons in TV series, Blair Waldorf is bound to come to mind, even if you haven’t actually watched Gossip Girl. Living in the upper east side, attending a preppy private school, and appearing as though they live adult lives, Blair and her crew are anything but ordinary. Growing up with a mother who is a fashion designer definitely left an impact on Blair and her style choices, although some were negative with the constant desire to be perfect. Blair Waldorf chooses fashion over comfort, and will wear anything that makes her look the best in the room!

When looking for fashion inspiration for the 70s, Jackie Burkhart is your girl. With her classic role on That 70’s Show, Jackie rocks all things 70’s, from bell-bottom pants to disco themed tops. Her character is relatively clueless about the things going on around her, but there is one thing she is always sure of, and that is her style! She knows she looks good in every outfit and is the center of attention in every room she walks in.

Jessica Day is a quirky middle school teacher and vice-principal, who has a unique look and aesthetic. She has a positive outlook on life, and it shows through her bright outfits. Jessica is always wearing bright colors, polka-dots, bold prints and patterns, and interesting accessories. Typically in a modest top and flowy mini skirt, Jess pulls off so many unique looks that most people wouldn’t even try. She has her own personal style that isn’t copied often in TV, making her a true fashion icon.

6. Moira Rose

Alexis Rose had to get her eye for fashion from somewhere, and that somewhere is her mother, Moira Rose! Moira is a flamboyant character on Schitt’s Creek that is known for her dramatic personality and over-the-top dialogue. 8. Veronica Lodge

Veronica Lodge starts off her time in Riverdale as the designated preppy, rich girl, but soon transforms into a relatable character, still with impeccable style. She has the perfect appearance on the outside, while her home life is a mess with her parents. While living in a town full of murder and mystery, Veronica Lodge shows up everywhere with amazing style, even when they are in the woods looking for bodies. Sometimes looking out of place (for obvious reasons), Veronica doesn’t seem to be bothered as being best dressed in all situations.

Kelly Kapowski embodies everything a girl in the 90s is inspired by in fashion. She is the perfect, all-American girl who has every boy in school fawning over her. Her girly and feminine style has so many girls wanting to recreate her look and create looks inspired by her character.
