Fall Perfumes You Need To Add To Your Collection

With fall quickly approaching, it’s that time to switch up your perfumes again! In case you didn’t know, every scent can be associated with a different season based on the notes. For instance, floral notes are often associated with spring, while woody notes often go hand in hand with fall.

Whether you know it or not, you may be wearing summer perfume in the winter and vice versa. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with doing this, but switching up your signature scent for the seasons gives you the perfect excuse to try out something new and match the season you’re in!

So if you want to try something new or just emulate the changing seasons, here are 10 fall perfumes you should definitely consider adding to your collection!

Whispers in the Library//Maison Margiela

The Replica collection from Maison Margiela is a crowd favorite for multiple reasons, but mostly because the collection actually replicates the comforting smells that we all know and love for every season.

This fall, the Replica collection has released Whispers in the Library which is reminiscent of a cozy reading nook on a cold, rainy day. The fragrance description on the bottle even says that the inspiration behind the scent was Oxford in 1997, and the paper and waxed wood inside the library.

Notes: vanilla, pepper, cedar, precious woods

The perfume itself has a gorgeous gourmand scent to it with notes of vanilla and coffee but also has woody and floral notes that compliment it beautifully. It’s not surprising that there is a full collection of Opium perfumes that include Black Opium Nuit Blanche, Black Opium Intense, and Opium. But if we had to pick just one, it would have to be Black Opium.

Greylocke//Phlur

If you haven’t heard of or tried Phlur, what are you doing? But in all seriousness, this is a phenomenal brand that needs to be talked about more! Just like Clean Reserve, Phlur is a 100% clean brand that uses safe ingredients that are not harmful to us or the environment. You would be shocked to know what is actually in your perfumes, but with Phlur, you don’t have to worry.

What I love about Phlur (besides their honesty) are the incredible scents that they have. Many perfumes will call themselves one thing like “Jasmine” then have 10 other notes along with that making the smell you thought you were getting unrecognizable. With Phlur, they keep their notes to a minimum, so you are getting what you think you are.

This fall, give Phlur a try with their scent Greylocke. Greylocke was inspired by nature and New England heritage. If you’ve ever been to New England in the fall, you’ll know it’s one of the most gorgeous places to be in the autumn months. This scent is unisex meaning it’s great for men and women alike. For me, this scent is extremely comforting and makes me feel warm and cozy!

But don’t just take my word for it, try it yourself! On Phlur’s website, you can try out 3 samples for only $18, so you don’t have to commit to a whole bottle before trying it! The three samples should last you about 30 days, and once you’ve picked your favorite, you can apply that $18 to a bottle of your favorite scent!

Kayali Vanilla|28//Huda Beauty

Huda has expanded her brand from just makeup to perfume, we’re so thankful she did! Huda has now created a perfume brand named Kayali translated to “my imagination” in Arabic. This line is inspired by Huda’s Middle Eastern heritage with a range of crazy pleasant scents!

This fall, try out Kayali’s Vanilla|28 and never go back! In case you were curious, the number 28 comes from the number of formulation rounds it took to get this scent right. So you know Huda put a lot of time and effort into getting the perfect perfume.

Vanilla|28 is the perfect blend of sweet, warm, and spicy with notes of jasmine, Madagascan vanilla orchid, and amber. This is the ideal fall perfume for someone who loves a gourmand perfume with a spicy twist and honestly, who doesn’t? And the bottle is gorgeous, how could you say no?

Nest has a vast collection of perfumes but this fall, give Midnight Fleur a try, and you can thank me later. Midnight Fleur was inspired by Mrs. Mary Delany, a British artist who is responsible for some gorgeous botanical art pieces. Midnight Fleur can capture Mrs. Mary Delany’s work by making the perfect fall scent. It features notes of vanilla orchid and amber making it the ideal addition to any fall perfume collection!

Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere//Philosophy

The original Fresh Cream by Philosophy is the only perfume I have ever gone through an entire bottle of which is saying something for me. I am a huge perfume hoarder, so to go through a whole bottle and then to buy another one means that this perfume is one to obsess over.

So when they released Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere, you best believe I purchased it! Unlike the OG Fresh Cream, the Warm Cashmere edition has more woody notes making this the perfect fall perfume. This perfume definitely falls under the gourmand category, but there is something about it that goes beyond vanilla and into a cozy fall day where you just want to stay in bed! Trust me, this might just be the first perfume you buy two bottles of!

Notes: vanilla, coconut, cashmere wood, sandalwood, and musk
