What Romantic Comedy Are You Based On Your Zodiac Sign

Who doesn’t love a good rom-com every once and a while? With decades of movies that make us laugh and our hearts swoon, it’s impossible to not find one of these films to your liking. Some you may even find you relate on a spiritual level. Check out these romantic comedy matchups based on your zodiac sign!

Aries: 16 Candles

Just like Sam in 16 Candles, you are in constant fear of people forgetting your existence. Often being an independent soul leads you to fear to rely on others, makes you worry that those might not want to be close to you. But like she came to realize by the end of the movie, your bold fashion sense and charming demeanor are impossible for that to happen. A strong sense of humor, clever retorts, patience and the ability to sacrifice will lead you to be successful in life, which is why even though her birthday was a total disaster, Sam managed to get exactly what she wanted.

Taurus: My Best Friend’s Wedding

You are super stubborn to a fault, therefore its no wonder that a film about a woman letting her best friend, who is also secretly the love of her life, get married to another woman. But you are also incredibly loving, so you just want what is best for those you care about, like how Julianne does by letting Michael marry another woman, even though she wishes that it were her. You may not always get what you want in the end, or end up on the path you hoped, but you know that you’re doing the right thing, which is most important in your book.

Gemini: Clueless

Let’s be real…as a Gemini, you tend to get a little too involved in other people’s lives, especially those you care about. Therefore its no wonder that a movie which centers around the main character Cher, only ever trying to give advice to those around her, instead of working on her own issues is your type of movie. You throw yourself into projects like helping Ty, leading the Pismo Beach Disaster Effort, and using your legal skills to argue those grades. But like Cher realized in the end, you need to make yourself happy first, as she did by dating Josh. Your adaptability should lead you down a path like this when it’s most needed.

Cancer: John Tucker Must Die

You’re incredibly loyal and hate to be betrayed. I could not think of a better movie to match any Cancer than John Tucker Must Die. John Tucker’s three current girlfriends team up with new girl Kate to get revenge for infidelity. The movie showcases themes of friendship, female solidarity, and love; all values that you hold deeply to your heart. Your honest side will keep telling you that the plot against Tucket is wrong and not a part of your usual character. Plus your devious side will love all the tactics the girls use to mess with him

Leo: Stuck In Love

Though a Leo is fearless in nature and can easily jump into whatever they are passionate about, they often find it hard to fully believe in love. This is something the Borgens family experiences, as the three of them separately face their own struggles in their relationship. Bill Borgens is still under the false hope that his ex-wife will return to him, Rusty is scared to act on his feelings, and Sam is afraid to be involved in any kind of relationship. At the end of the day, what you value most is your family, and you will enjoy how regardless of personal betrayals each might have had with one another, the Borgens’s family is there for one another.

Virgo: 10 Things I Hate About You

Scared to love or fearful of a broken heart. As a Virgo, you know how difficult it can be to let people in, with the notion they’ll never be able to understand you. This is something lead characters Kat and Patrick equally struggle within this classic rom-com. Neither wants to let the other person see the real them and by the time the two have really opened up, Kat learns it was all because of a paid arrangement. As a Virgo you know it is incredibly hard for you to forgive and only comes when you see a true sentiment of sincerity. Therefore you know when Kat forgives Patrick at the end of the film, it is because she sees the good person and that he loves her, regardless of what circumstances led to their relationship.

Libra: Bridget Jones’s Diary

You are a hopeless romantic in fear of missing out on true love. Therefore you can relate Bridget Jones, the main character of this 2001 film. Bridget is a 32-year-old woman, fearing that she will be alone forever. This is until the serious Mark Darcy compliments her airy and spontaneous personality quite nicely. Like Jones, you may find yourselves often believing the best in people, just as she trusts that her boss Daniel will ever care for her deeply in the way Darcy does. And while you do have a free spirit and hate the idea of settling down, it’s quite possible when you find a person as perfect for you as Darcy is for Bridget.

Scorpio: Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist

Not your typical rom-com for sure but as a Scorpio you hate the ordinary. Your determined nature can relate to Nick and Nora’s desire to see the fictional band Where’s Flurry, even if it means traipsing all over New York City until early the next morning. As your judge in character is spot on, you will love how Nora is able to determine she is able to determine that Nick is a pretty cool guy just based on his taste in music and that is ex-girlfriend Tris is toxic to him. And your opinionated side can resonate with how Nick always seems to just say the wrong thing. But ultimately a sense of resourcefulness combined with strong will power led to the night turning out positive and the forming of a perfect match, something any Scorpio can appreciate.

Sagittarius: Letters To Juliet

Always searching for a journey and looking to solve a puzzle, this 2008 romance is your perfect match. Sophie, after responding to an old love letter, finds herself in a journey across Italy with the now elderly Claire and her grandson. Your optimistic side will be inspired by Sophie’s relentless efforts to reunite lost lovers. Your interpretive side will love figuring out the clues that led Sophie to Claire’s past flame. And your love of being in love will be ignited with all the romance has to offer in this modern take on Shakespeare’s classic Romeo and Juliet.

Capricorn: To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before

Like the main character Laura-Jean, your logical side often means that you miss out on love in fear of being hurt. You also have a lot of respect for those around you, which is why you would relate to Laura-Jean not wanting to start dating her sister’s ex-boyfriend Josh, even though she is madly in love with him. The contract is written between Laura-Jean and Peter, however, it does not seem too outlandish of an idea for yourself as you are business oriented and organized in all matters of life. However, by the end of the film, we see Laura-Jean accept Peter, regardless of his faults, because she knows he is the only one who truly understands her, an aspect you crave from those seeking to be in a relationship with you.

Aquarius: 13 Going On 30

Your spontaneity and a desire to always keep moving, make this Garner classic a perfect fit. Like the main character Jenna, a fearless spirit leads you to do things others may not ever even think of, like leading a room full of people to dance to Thriller at a work party. A fun-loving side and creativity to boot make Jenna’s job at Poise a breeze for her, regardless of the fact she truly has the mentality of a 13-year-old girl. And your fear of love can be seen in Jenna’s fear to let her best friend Matt know how she feels about him. But in the end, her honesty gets to her and she tells him how she feels, leading to all ends well, which is similar to how many of your relationships start.

Pisces: 50 First Dates

The romantic comedy that fits with your personality has to be this Sandler/Barrymore flick. Henry, a marine veterinarian, falls for Lucy, an artist who experienced a traumatic brain injury a year prior. A key premise of the movie is Henry and Lucy going on multiple first dates (as the title signifies) since Lucy’s memory resets at the end of each day. Your romantic side will love the effort that Henry puts into each of the dates, making Lucy fall in love with him every time. And the selfless part of you will understand why Henry does not give up on Lucy, regardless of the fact she never can fully ever remember him.
