Fall Activities Everyone Loves To Do

If you are a fall lover like me, then you are already planning your fall activities for the upcoming season! Fall is limitless and has so much to offer, and sometimes it can be hard to pack everything you need to do into a few short weeks, so make sure you pick your favorite activities and schedule a time to enjoy them! Here are a few cal activities that everyone loves to do throughout the season:

1. Visit A Pumpkin Patch

Let’s be real here – did you really experience fall if you didn’t visit a pumpkin patch? This is probably one of the most basic and popular fall activities that everyone loves to do, and it is pretty much a mandatory activity, too! Pumpkin patches have so much to offer – hot apple cider, hot chocolate, donuts, rides, and most importantly, PUMPKINS!

Visit your local pumpkin patch with a few friends, take some cute pictures, and pick out your perfect pumpkin for the jack-o-lantern you are guaranteed to carve later on.

2. Go Apple Picking

Another popular fall activity is apple picking! Most of the time, your local pumpkin patch will likely have some apples that they have harvested or an apple orchard nearby, and you should definitely make sure to check it out when you visit! Typically, the orchards have rows and rows of different types of apples for you to choose from, and you can fill up your basket to the brim with the perfect apples for an apple pie! Pick up a basket and get picking!

3. Visit a Haunted House

If you’re like me, then haunted houses scare you half to death, but that’s the thrill of them! During the month of October, haunted houses seem to pop up everywhere you can imagine, and they get a lot of hype as Halloween approaches! Take it slow with a smaller haunted house if you’d like, or go big with one of the top haunted houses in your state! Whatever you decide, make sure you have a friend with you to hide behind when those creepy clowns decide to make a surprise appearance.

4. Go Through A Corn Maze

Corn mazes are one of the most fun fall activities I can think of! When the corn is taller than you and you have absolutely no idea where you are, the thrill and anticipation of successfully finding your way out are super fun – especially if you go with a good group of friends! If you are new to corn mazes, make sure to start out in the smaller ones first as they can be pretty tricky! Once you have become an expert at the small mazes, try the bigger ones and see if you can avoid getting lost!

5. Have a Bonfire

One of the most basic fall activities you can enjoy is a bonfire! Get out those oversized sweatshirts, throw some logs on the fire, and roast some marshmallows with friends while sharing laughs and scary stories! Nothing is better than a crackling fire during the crisp months of fall, and those s’mores taste pretty good, too!

6. Have a Pumpkin Carving Party

The best way to say goodbye to fall is by having a pumpkin carving party with friends or family on the eve of Halloween! Have everyone gather with their special pumpkins, cover your table in newspapers, and get carving! Once everyone has carved their special pumpkin design, set the pumpkins up in a way in which you can see each carving, light the candles, turn off the lights, and take some cool photos! This is one of my favorite fall activities, and it’s even better with a scary movie playing in the background!
