It is no secret that celeb couples breakup frequently. However, these particular breakups have happened right after the couple had a child together. Whether they called off weddings or divorced, here are a few of the biggest Hollywood celeb couples that split following births of children.

1. Janet Jackson and Wissam Al Mana

Janet and Wissam were married for five years and had a baby together in January 2017. However, in April 2017, the couple broke up, just three months after the birth of their baby.

2. Christina Milian and The-Dream

After struggling in their relationship, Christina and The-Dream divorced after a 10-month marriage. The announcement came on The-Dream’s website five months after their daughter was born.

3. Jill Scott and Lil John Roberts

Jill Scott gave birth to her and fiancée (at the time) Lil John Robert’s son in April 2009. However, the couple called off their engagement in June of that year.

4. Mel B and Eddie Murphy

Former Spice Girl Mel B and actor Eddie Murphy had a daughter together in 2007, but the couple. However, Mel does not remember the pregnancy fondly and remains hesitant to allow Eddie to see their daughter.

Ciara gave birth to her and Future’s son in May of 2014, but they called off their engagement in August of that year. Things got so bad that Future has been called out for skipping child visits.

Lizzie McGuire star Hilary Duff married hockey player Mike Comrie after dating for several years. They welcomed a son a couple of years after marriage, but the couple broke up before the baby was two years old.
