10 Mother's Day Brunch Ideas You Should Treat Your Mom To

What better way to show that special woman in your life how much you love her than to prepare your own Mother’s Day Brunch?

I personally believe that blood doesn’t make a family. Not everyone’s biological mother can or should be celebrated. The sad reality is that having a good relationship with your parents is actually just as common as winning lottery tickets.

No matter your relationship with your mother, everyone’s got at least 1 person in their life who deserves a good old Mother’s Day brunch! I’m not against Mother’s Day. In fact, I believe EVERYONE should be able to celebrate it by honouring that special person in their life. It should be normal to honour WHOEVER has been the maternal figure in your life.

Is it your grandmother? Your aunt? Your friend? Your in-law? Your boss? Your father? Whoever it is.

Everyone has a special person in their life who looks out for you. Your maternal figure doesn’t necessarily have to be a woman, and it doesn’t have to be someone who raised you either. It’s someone you look up to. Someone who takes care of you. It’s exhausting to constantly look after others, and I believe it’s really healthy to celebrate and appreciate that person in our lives. Regardless of blood.

Whoever it is you look up to, that person sure as hell deserves a Mother’s Day Brunch.
