Best Movies on Hulu You Need To Watch ASAP

Spending a lot of time indoors lately? So are we. Right now is the perfect time to try out that TV series your best friend has been telling you for weeks to start. Why not spend the night making your own movie theater? Build a blanket fort, string it with lights, and grab all your favorite snacks. I’ve put together a list of the best movies on Hulu you can binge all day long. Whether you’re into romance, comedy, horror, or documentaries, there’s something here for you! Check out the best movies on Hulu during March 2020.

Three Identical Strangers

This documentary tells the amazing story of identical triplets Bobby Shafran, David Kellman and Eddy Galland who were given up for adoption at the age of six months from Louise Wise Services. All three of the boys were separated and grew up never knowing they had other brothers out there, never mind identical triplets. Find out how and when these brothers reconnected in this unbelievable, but true, story.

National Lampoon’s Vacation

In this 1983 comedy, take a trip with the Griswolds to California’s Walley World. This isn’t your typical vacation. You’ll witness a handful of catastrophic disasters that will keep you laughing throughout the entire film. Being rated R, viewers will see racist references as well as hear adult language. Let me tell you, you’re missing out on a classic if you’ve never seen National Lampoon’s Vacation.

No Strings Attached

Ah, we all love a good romance movie, but how about a rom-com? This movie stars Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher, and though it’s been out for almost ten years, we still can’t get enough of it. So, how exactly do you keep a relationship “strictly physical”? How do you push all feelings aside when having sex with a friend? We’ll let you answer that question AFTER watching No Strings Attached.

I, Tonya

Personally, I don’t know a thing about figure skating but this movie had me hooked. This movie is based on the (somewhat) true story of Tonya Harding, the first American woman to successfully do a triple axel, one of the oldest and most difficult jumps in figure skating, in a competition. When Tonya’s ex-husband got involved in an attack with her skating rival, Tonya’s name and reputation were looked down upon. Watch this film and see how this unfolds for yourself!

The Cabin in the Woods

WARNING: This movie is in fact terrifying. If you cant handle a horror movie, keep scrolling. The Cabin in the Woods is about five college besties who go to a very secluded cabin, yes in the woods, for the weekend and soon discover they are no longer in contact with the world outside their cabin. Watch The Cabin in the Woods and come watch the terror unfold yourself. Plus, you’ll get to stare at Chris Hemsworth, so it’s worth the scare.

Free Solo

Free Solo is a documentary based on the insane life of rock climber Alex Honnold. According to Cnet, he is the “highest-earning rock climber on the planet,” his net worth is around $2 million. Watch Free Solo and see how Honnold plans to achieve his dream of climbing El Capitan at Yosemite National Park in California… without using a rope. El Capitan is one of Yosemite’s most notable landmarks, standing at 3,200 feet tall. Watch Honnold’s adventure, and hold on tight.

When Harry Met Sally

This 1989 romantic comedy is just what you need to see. When Harry Met Sally tells the story of two college students who share a ride together from Chicago to New York, then meeting again in a bookstore almost 10 years later. So, why do these two keep running into each other? This movie is full of great acting, pure joy, and a little hope for the hopeless romantics out there. What’s not to love?

Good Will Hunting

This 1997 drama starring Robin Williams, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck tells the story of a very intelligent boy with a troubled past. Though he is the janitor at MIT, his genius talents are discovered when he solved a graduate-level math problem. Professor Gerald Lambeau plans to help him find direction in his life and allow him to reach his full potential. This movie was nominated for nine Academy awards and won two of them. Good Will Hunting is definitely a must-watch!

See Also

Monsters vs. Aliens

Definitely more of a family-friendly movie, Monsters vs. Aliens is a movie to watch when you want to relax and not watch something so dramatic and serious. Follow Ginormica, a giant played by the voice of Reese Witherspoon, and other monsters in their battle to save the planet from an extraterrestrial robot.

Hitch

Who doesn’t love a Will Smith movie? Hitch is another rom-com starring Will Smith as dating coach Alex “Hitch” as he helps others woo the woman of their dreams. But for Hitch? He’s having some trouble with his own relationships. He’ll need to take his own advice to make matters work. So grab a bowl of popcorn and flip Hitch on to your TV!

Tragedy Girls

If you like horror but not scary, scary movies, Tragedy girls are the perfect comedy horror to add to your list. Sadie and McKayla are two teenage crime reporters following right behind a serial killer. As teen girls, they’ll do anything to boost their social media platforms, and I mean anything. They’ll even go as far as committing murders themselves. Be warned that there are many bloody scenes in this movie. Though they can come across as more of a comical scene than a horror scene, they’re still pretty alarming.

Wonder

Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson, need I say more? Wonder is an inspiring movie about a young boy named August Pullman who was born with many different facial features. As he enters fifth grade, he is entering a school that’s different from anywhere he’s been before. Auggie will show people that despite his differences, he knows he was born to stand out rather than blend in with the crowd.

What are you waiting for? Pop your popcorn, grab a drink and pull up your Hulu! Time to kick back and relax with some great movies.
