Brisbane, one of Australia’s best places to go clubbing, home of many clubbers who call ‘the valley’ the best place to club at. 1. Prohibition

One of the biggest and best clubs in the Valley, with free entry most nights except during major events it also holds four different rooms of music. Open every week from Thursday-Sunday great deals such as $1 Pizza every night, treats available on Thursdays and Sundays as well as guest list from one of the promoters in which you’ll get VIP express entry and another treat if on it. This is high on the list of best clubs in Brisbane.

2. Retros

Full of old school hits and new modern-day ones, Retros is the place to be for that music you still want to party with back in the day. Featuring ‘80s, ‘90s and noughties in at Retros with rooms big and small with a beautiful centrepiece at Rubik’s lounge where the heart of the party is. This cocktail lounge bar is open Fridays and Saturdays 8pm-3am where casual attire is entirely appropriate.

3. The Met

Open Friday and Saturdays from 9 pm to 5 am this vibrant club with three levels and five bars is host to major events and performances including Blackbear, Timmy Trumpet, Ransom and more. This Dance and Nightclub is only a $20 entry fee to attend these ongoing events every week or more depending on the event but is well worth the money to attend.

4. Sky and Lotus

Fly Fridays and I Love RnB Saturdays are the events on every week at Sky and Lotus. This Dance and Nightclub features RnB, Hip hop and Soul across two level of entertainment as well as occasional special guests such as Gina Darling. With a $10/$20 cover charge each night or cheaper on the guest list this is the place to be.

5. Our Place

Free entry all week means clubbing to pop music all week at Our Place, Thursday-Saturday. Constant top 40 hits means the music we all know and love with that good 1970’s party in the backyard feels where you’ll feel like a teenager again just chilling with mates out clubbing in the Valley.

6. The Beat

Party Central at The Beat because we all know that nobody parties more or better than you guessed it; the gays. Feel welcome, here every day 7 days a week 8 pm-5 am with free entry Monday-Thursday and a $7-$20 cover charge Friday-Sunday which includes a free sausage sizzle on Sunday. With 2 amazing levels and four rooms of fun it also features drag queens all around with amazing performances.

7. Oh Hello

Oh Hello, a quaint little club directly across from Birdees which features a live band every Friday and Free entry every Saturday. Open 9.30 pm-3.30 pm Friday [with a $10 cover charge] and Saturday 10 pm-3.30 am. Home to the best trap music, where some major artists such as Marshmello have come to perform it is certainly a place to checkout.

8. Birdees

Open 7 days a week from 5 pm-3 am Monday-Thursday and 3 pm-3 am Friday-Sunday, this dance and night club features two amazing levels of floor-space, bar and more. With your typical top 40 radio hits old school and radio feel warm, welcome and comfortable clubbing to music you know. With free entry every night before 10 except a Saturday past 11 pm where a cheap $10 cover charge applies get your grove on!

9. Family

Also known as EI8GHT now on MacLauchlan street, it is open Friday-Sunday 9 pm-3 am for many events including hard-style, trap, rap and much much more. Huge artists such as Tiesto, Carl and Cos and Above & Beyond have played huge parts in performing there. As well as that it is also open on Sundays for what is known as Fluffies, another place for gay pride and to party. This is truly one of the best clubs in Brisbane.

10. GPO

With most people there on Friday being of Latinos’ and Asians’ it’s a huge hit every weekend with both levels packed to the brim. Open 9 am-5 pm Friday and Saturday it is a great place to party with people from different ethnicity groups. With only a cheap $10-$20 entry fee or free before 11 pm on guest-list its a one hit wonder you must go to.
