They helped me to build my resume, prepare for an interview with an employer through research and offered professional advice. “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7.
Time after time I waited until the last minute to print something or add something to a Google Slide and ended up late to class. I finally learned to make sure all parts of my assignments were finalized at least 24 hours before they were due. Plus I made it to class on time!
Working in groups with classmates taught me how to express my ideas and accept others in a polite way. By connecting and communicating with my professors I learned essential skills that can affect my future career opportunities, as well as real-world challenges.
During my opportunity to study abroad I was able to show my parents I can travel safely, drink responsibly, spend wisely and communicate frequently. They were proud to see their hard work pay off in another country!
