12. Toy Story

Hey, toys have lives too, you know, and emotions, too.

One of the best movies ever made when it comes to animated film, Toy Story is the story of the lives of the toys (you probably could have guessed that, though) found in Andy’s room.

With the addition of a new action figure, Buzz Lightyear, on Andy’s birthday, the attention and affection swings ever so greatly into Buzz’s favor, which doesn’t sit well with the movie’s main character, a sheriff doll named Woody. Woody’s jealousy boils over, and his thirst for toy box supremacy pushes him to literally push Buzz out of an open window “accidentally” to the disgust of the fellow toys and the horror of Andy. Woody then takes it upon himself to go outside of the room and save Buzz to bring joy back to Andy and the toys in the room.

Much like the best-selling novels, the movie series follows his years through wizard school at Hogwartz as he learns to hone his magic skills while going through all of the typical things middle and high school students go through themselves; making friends, dealing with bullying, being the star of the biggest sport in school, all that good stuff.
