What To Wear To A College Party

College parties are a time to be free and have fun. You can meet so many new people and make memories with some of your closest friends. Dressing up for a college party can either be super easy and quick or a struggle. For guys, a simple T-shirt, pants, sneakers, wallet and they’re good to go but for girls it’s always a little tougher. There’s the question of short sleeve or long sleeve? If you wear a long sleeve shirt  you might get too hot and if you wear a short sleeve shirt you might get too cold. You can always bring a light jacket but let’s face it, you’ll either lose it or you’ll get annoyed having to carry it all night. Then there’s the question of where you’re going to put your phone, money, ID, and room key (if you have one). So to save you a major headache here is What To Wear To A College Party!

1. Nice Top And Jeans

You can never go wrong with a nice top and jeans! the jeans will keep you warm and so can (for example)  an over the shoulder top because you won’t be too hot and still look cute. Dress up the outfit with some jewelry and heels if it’s more of a low-key party. You can nevertheless wear this some slides or booties if it’s a huge part where you won’t be able to sit much.

2. Black Leather Leggings And A Flannel

Leggings and a flannel make the perfect outfit if you’re in a hurry to get to that college party because your roommate/ friend called you last minute and told you about it. It’s comfy and cute, and if you’re worried about being too hot or too cold you can wrap your flannel around your waist and it can be out of your way so you can continue to enjoy the party. You can still be cute in this outfit by styling your leggings with a crop top to dress the outfit up more. Of course, if you don’t have black leather leggings feel free to switch them out for a regular pair of black leggings.

3. Tube Top, Jean Skirt And A Belt

This combo is more for a summer night, or if you go to school somewhere where it’s 70 to 80 degrees everyday. It is super cute but you can make it more edgy by adding a belt! Dress this up with heels or thigh high boots or dress it down with sandals or sneakers, either way you’ll turn heads no matter what. This is the perfect comfy and cute look.

4. Fancy Dress

Sometimes a college party will be very fancy and require a little more effort than what you are usually wearing. Unfortunately, with these kinds of parties you’ll most likely have to bring a small bag or clutch. You can also stick to the classic little black dress if you aren’t a sequin lover or be bold and go for something vibrant.

5. Tropical Themed Party

Some college parties that you will attend may have a theme, which gives you an opportunity other than Halloween to dress up in costume. One theme that may come up several times is tropical. This is easy for everyone to dress in because all you have to do is buy a tropical shirt or just borrow one from your dad, shorts, flip flops and maybe a lei.
