A few of the best things to do is to explore what campus has to offer because it will most likely be free. The Fashion Museum is free to all Kent State students with their Flash ID. Exhibits are constantly changing, so there is always something new even if you have already been there once before. There are eight galleries that showcase everything from fashion and costumes to textiles and furniture pieces.

2. Check out the May 4th Exhibition

It is located right at the center of campus in Taylor Hall. Many students never take the opportunity to refresh and learn more about what happened on their university campus after their freshman year. The exhibition is educational, but also something all students can connect with.

There are various events ranging from sports games and late night skates to photoshop classes and sessions that help teach you how to manage your money (wouldn’t hurt to attend one of those if you’re broke). Kent has some of the cutest little cafes and boutiques. If you have a few bucks to spare, grab a coffee and chat the day away with a few friends.
