5 Ways To Wear Leather On Leather

Leather is the perfect material that will warm you up, while keeping your look chic. Try these different ways to wear more than one leather piece, when you can’t choose your favorite!

1. Motorcycle Boots

Motorcycle boots are the best shoes to pair with a matching moto jacket. If you want a leather on leather style that is chic, subtle, and can pair with any color top or dress, this look is perfect. Pair your boots with a complimenting leather handbag. You can wear leather boots with chains and straps. Or, you can wear studded boots with spikes or pearl details. For a monochromatic look, if your boots are black, wear a black jacket. If you’re wearing brown boots, wear a brown or tan leather jacket. Pair your look with a long, maxi dress if it’s not too chilly outside. If it is rather cool, wear a sweater dress or a turtleneck and trousers. You can add jewelry to your look, with light necklaces that you can layer from small to large. The even backdrop is perfect for a large ring or even a hat in a vibrant color like yellow or red. This look works well with a messy top bun and tendrils. If you want to wear this look without the leather jacket, but still want the same effect, try wearing a sleeveless leather top. A leather cropped top will work, as well.

2. Pleated Skirt

A long leather skirt is ultra chic and creates a cool layered look. The long length of the leather skirt allows you to wear to many occasions, including birthday dinners, and party nights with friends! This is another look you can pair with a moto-jacket, including cropped or quilted styles. To bring attention to your jewelry, try wearing a sweater or light sweatshirt and medallion necklace. You can also wear tights to cover your legs, if the weather is cold. If you wear tights or stockings, you don’t have to wear plain color ones. Try mixing things up with printed tights in a cool pattern that will elongate your legs and create a “wow” effect. To continue with accessories, you can wear a small clutch (depending on the occasion) or you can wear a large hobo bag. Wear chunky jewelry, if you want a more glam look. If you want a more streamlined look, try wearing a simple gold-tone choker and midi rings. You can even wear a watch, if it’s a more business-like occasion.  Top off your outfit, with patent pointed or rounded toe pumps. You can also wear open-toe heels and tights, for a complete fashion-week look.

3. Mini Skirt

If you want a sexy skirt look, go for a leather mini skirt, paired with leather boots. A skirt that fits at the waist is ideal for tucking your shirt or sweater. Try wearing a turtle neck or long sleeve sweater. If the weather is only inching towards cool, you can wear a sleeveless sweater or crop top! If you need to wear a handbag, add to the leather with a small cross-body that has a silver-tone chain strap. Add more style to the chain detail, with matching silver-tone rings or bracelets. You can also wear long, necklaces that will drape over your top, with gold chains or vintage pearl stones. You can also add solid tights for a sophisticated look. Wear your hair in tight curls, for a sweet girly look. Or, wear your hair long and straight for a slightly mysterious, demure look. You can wear your makeup in a bold way, with red lipstick or purple-tone eyes.

4. Mid Length Skirt

A mid-length skirt screams high-fashion! Try wearing a leather skirt in a tan color, with a leather faux-fur lined jacket. Add extra runway vibes, with long leather boots that reach past your calves. You can also wear open-toe heels, if you’re going out on a date, clubbing or partying. You can wear the go-to turtleneck underneath or a black ribbed sweater. Cable knit sweaters also pair well with this look, giving you a silhouette that pulls in at the waist. You can wear biker-like accessories, with a silk material pirate scarf or you can wear large sunglasses. You don’t need jewelry with this look, since the look is dramatic on its own. If you want to wear accessories, try wearing a simple gold ring or two. You can also wear a leather clutch, or over-sized shoulder carry.  This versatile look can be worn with your hair long and straight, for a model-like look. Or, if you need a prim hairstyle, wear your hair in a pulled back pony or large bun.

5. Red Pants

Leather pants are a staple, for any fall look you want to create. To spice things up, try wearing red leather pants and a leather biker jacket. Since the bright color of the pants stand out on their own, try wearing a sexy one-piece top! This will give you a sultry look, but will keep you covered, for the weather needs. If you want to create an edgy look, try wearing strappy heels with spikes or rhinestones. You can also wear a studded belt to compliment the zips and buttons in your jacket. This look pairs well with a simple gold or silver necklace. If you want a more rock star look, wear a leather choker and combat boots. If you carry a handbag, go for a slouchy cross-body, or large envelope clutch. If you want to tone down your look for a casual day, simply wear a black scoop neck sweater or t-shirt. This look works well with sneakers and platform boots, as well. Wear your hair in loose waves, with a choppy bob, for a Bella Thorne fashion look.
